The tour group I was on checked in to the Lotus Boutique Hotel, my assigned room number was 112. I did not like the location of the room, as the lobby area is open, and the rooms on the first two floors are open to the sounds from the lobby. In addition, being situated by the smoking door at the back of the hotel was most certainly a negative. The room was small but decent, except for the scuffed up walls, and the shower didn’t drain very well.

The restaurant was located on the 7th floor, the breakfast food choices were decent, and there was an omelet station. The front desk staff were pretty good though. The location of the hotel was good, as it was close to Bui Vien Walking Street and Ben Thanh Street Food Market.

After taking in what I experienced, I rounded up the rating to a 3 out or 5. The other hotel I booked after my group tour ended was much better, check out my review!

We stayed here as a part of G Adventures tour. As our tour ended here, we stayed here for a couple of extra nights to bring in New Year. The location is brilliant and only 5 minutes from Ben Thanh market and the street food market - we ended up eating here every day as the choice and quality was fantastic! The hotel room was pretty average - our window was 1m away from someone elses room so it felt really dark. The place could have done with a more thorough clean as it was almost like the mop had been rinsed in the sink!! It was great to have a little pool area on the roof and was fun to sit up here with some beers after bringing in the New Year in the city centre. Breakfast was really good and lots of choice including an omlette station. Overall, was a good stay but could do with a deep clean!

Travelling with a friend, we decided to stay here for 3 nights once arriving in Ho Chi Minh, the hotel had our booking. Our room was very dark, the window was in a very small light well, the room felt small and claustrophobic. The bathroom was finished well but the shower ran scolding hot to cold and went all over the floor which was not brilliant. Breakfast was nice, lots of selection and good omelettes. Great location and friendly staff although I tried to book a few more nights and was told by reception to book online, when I looked there were nicer hotels cheaper, so we moved. The pool on the roof offers nice views but the pool is very small, so small I didn't bother, I don't really think you could swim in it very well. The room was cleaned every day although I'm sure they waited for us to return from a day out before they decided to clean it! All things considered, this hotel is clean and central. I doubt I'll return again.

We stayed at the A25 Hotel Le Thi Hong Gam in Ho Chi Minh City for our first night in Vietnam as part of a Djoser Family tour, and it was a very disappointing start of our trip.

The rooms and bathrooms were not clean, with dust and hair still visible in the corners and on surfaces. To make matters worse, the swimming pool was not only small but clearly hadn’t been maintained; the water looked and in fact was murky and uninviting.

Although the hotel advertised gym facilities, none of the equipment was functioning, making it unusable. The breakfast provided was extremely basic, with limited options and lacking the fresh, quality ingredients one might expect in a place like Vietnam.

Overall, the hotel and facilities certainly didn’t meet the standards we expected and were promised, and we would not recommend this hotel for travelers seeking a comfortable, clean, and functional start to their Vietnam experience.

A nice, basic but clean hotel centrally located so easy access to centre of town. The room we were in had no views as ground floor, but was a nice size and had a good bathroom with a Japanese style multi function toilet! The roof pool was great for views over the city. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and nice. But after checking in we found we had been given the wrong room. We booked a superior double room on Bookin.com but when we questioned it they said we had booked a junior double on Agoda. Despite showing them our confirmation and emails they refused to refund, cancel or upgrade the booking saying it wasn’t their policy to do so. The room was absolutely tiny, no window and did not look like the pictures online. We found the staff to be rude and un-attentive particularly in the bar and at reception. The pool is not was is shown in the pictures and is so small it can fit about 5 people. Overall, the hotel was overpriced, rooms very small and the staff very rude. Not a pleasant experience. Much better and cheaper options in the immediate area.

The rooms are very clean, quiet and the staff are nice and helpful. Rooftop pool is small/shallow but clean and refreshing. Located on a quiet street with a mini-mart at the end of the road. Breakfast included toast, fruit, rice dishes and “sausages” (actually hotdogs).

Small but pleasant hotel in the heart of the city, get min. walk from the market. The room was a bit small, but clean. The breakfast was good and we had a couple of great evenings on the roof by the pool with a nice view. Reasonable and good hotel for both young and old.! There were many small shops and good eateries a few meters from the entrance. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

First night of a G.Adventures tour of SE Asia. location great- near market and (gorgeous) flower market. Rooftop pool too small for a proper swim. View from roof is superb. Amenable staff. Rooms slightly dated but our twin room was huge, with good clean bathroom and fascinating bidet attachment.

I was traveling with G Adventures and this hotel was booked as one of the hotels. We could not stay here. The hotel was not clean and it smelled in a bad way. We had three rooms booked because we were on a family vacation but could not do it. We booked ourselves into a Sheraton. Some of Our fellow travelers were unhappy as well.
