After the noise and action of Ho Chi Minh City (still commonly referred to as Saigon), it’s not surprising that many travelers head out to the countryside for some much-needed rest and relaxation among the coconut trees and fishing villages. But what if we brought these laid-back vibes into the city somehow? With a strong focus on relaxation and tranquility, we’ve gathered up the naturally calming colors, textures and scenery of Vietnam’s magnificent rural landscapes, and bundled them all up into a range of contemporary suites—each boasting kitchenettes, a relaxing lounge area, and beds so big you may get lost in them—to provide the perfect balance to the concrete jungle outside. For added indulgence, we also offer daily spa treatments included in the premium room rate, and our unique “breakfast anywhere” service.

The hotel is wonderful. We had a family suite with bunk beds for the kids. The room was spacious and clean and the perfect size for the family. The location is really great too and it is close enough to enjoy all the city has the offer whilst still remaining relatively quiet. We stayed for 2 days and this seemed plenty of time to explore. The breakfast was tasty and the cocktails in the evening at the restaurant were super too!

Walking around the city is pretty nuts and crossing the roads is something else but that is part of the charm!

For the money, this was one of the best places we have stayed!

We stayed at Fusion Suites for 3 nights prior to joining out travel marvel tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. The hotel is lovely, very comfortable, very central and offered a delicious breakfast. There is a Seven Eleven less than 2 minutes away ( be careful crossing the street) which only accepted dong but which provided all the necessary luxuries. Chocolate , cigarettes, soft drinks, beer and milk. I booked a massage for our final morning and paid 600,000 dong for an excellent full body massage from a delightful young lady. Laundry service is available and reasonably priced with same day return. The hotel provides toiletries, bottled water and there are water stations by the lift to refill them. Hairdryer works but is a bit of a nightmare but walk in shower was superb.
If I visit Saigon in the future I will not hesitate to book the Fusion Suites Hotel.

We found Fusion Suites to be a great choice - very centrally located, marvellous staff, reasonably priced, good rooms, a quiet location, excellent breakfast spread (complete with excellent coffee - Australians appreciate a good flat white).

With free spa treatments thrown in (we never had trouble booking them - simply booked the day ahead), and this was a wonderful choice.

We'd happily stay again!!

We stayed for 2 nights prior to a Mekong River cruise. The Fusion Suites is a modern hotel in a good location only 10 minutes’ walk from the Independence Palace.
Our room was on the top floor. The room had some nice features, such as a microwave, which we didn’t use. Storage was poor for anything other than a short stay, there is no wardrobe, just a hanging rail. As we were on a two week vacation there was not enough space and also only a small amount of drawer space. The bed was however comfortable.
Bathroom a good size and shower reasonably powerful.
We had breakfast included in our package, it was ok, but nothing special. My wife likes to drink Jasmine tea, this was not included in breakfast unless you paid extra, even though a wide range of coffee options was included. There was a buffet selection of fruit/breads/cereal, etc and a small selection of hot items to order.
The hotel provides drinking water in the room and there is also a water dispenser on each floor, which saves having to buy water and waste plastic bottles!
We were arriving early in the morning and contacted the hotel prior to our arrival, who offered a good value early check in price. Well worth it after a 12 hour flight from Europe.
Overall not a bad hotel, ok for a few nights stay, but if we were visiting again we would probably look elsewhere.

Stayed 2 night following a long trip in other parts of Vietnam and Cambodia our flight home was 23.55 so paid extra to keep room until 20.00 a bit expensive at $50 but worth it. Room lovely but thank goodness we were on 8th floor as any lower we would have looked out at blank wall being higher we at least could see trees as well as storage tanks. Beds had strange wooden ledge all way round just at ankle level so every time you got on or off Ouch! Kitchen area very sparce no cups cutlery or glasses so why bother with microwave? No wardrobe space just a small area of open hanging given the size of the rooms think the area could have been laid out much better. Breakfast very nice but area for eating not very big plus it was in the foyer area so people leaving were constantly walking past again poor planning. Hotel in quite a nice area but any mobility problems you would struggle as surrounding footpaths were in a bad state plus cars and small cafes all over the footpaths main roads very busy too. Thing most wished for a swimming pool after a tiring walk around Saigon it would have been lovely to have been able to chill out. Were there with Travel Marvel who use this hotel quite a lot.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful. The high ceilings made the suite feel so incredibly luxurious and the bathrooms were massive! Upon entering Fusion Suites Saigon, you will feel relaxed. The welcome drink was absolutely delicious (wish I could've had more or asked for their recipe). The rooms are also equipped with lots of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion (feels like a weird thing to mention in a review but I feel compelled to because a lot of hotels on our trip, strangely enough, did not have body lotion). The hotel was also super accommodating when we asked for an extra blanket and the breakfast spread was 10/10. So good! The hotel also has a sauna and gym, which we used during our stay. The sauna doesn't get too hot. There is also a spa, which we did not use. One thing to note is that the spa treatments come at an extra charge, unless your booking includes a spa package.

Pros: Large comfortable bed
Lots of hot water
Good breakfast
A large room with a big picture window

Cons: This is the only Vietnamese hotel of the 3 we stayed in which had an itemized list of all the furnishings with a stern note saying that if anything was found missing after check-out, we would be charged. However, several of the items, like hand towels and face cloths were not there to start with and we had to ask for them!
Also, there were green tea bags in the room, but if you asked for green tea at breakfast, there was an additional charge! Again, at no other hotel in our month's travel in SE Asia in 3 countries, did this occur.
And last, there were no night tables next to the bed. The small wooden rim that ran around the bed was inadequate to put a glass of water and other nighttime possessions that one might want to have handy during the night, like eyeglasses, alarm clock, etc. We did not feel comfortable putting them on the floor and stepping them on the way to the bathroom.

For all those reasons, we would, sadly, not stay here again.

Dearest Mr./Ms. mid214, Good morning from warm Saigon. Thank you very much for spending your valuable time to share your experience with us. First of all, on behalf of my team, I sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience you had during your stay. It is indeed not up to your and our expectations. Please kindly understand that our item list in the guest room is not meant to inform our guest that they would be questioned or charged upon checking out. It is only just the information in case our guests would like to purchase any of them. We are in the process of having new hand towels and fact towels. Currently, we would only provide these upon guests request. However, we truly understand it is not an excuse and we again apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. Please allow me to re-address this matter with my team and re-assure our guests not to have similar experience onward. We appreciated your feedback and suggestion regarding night tables next to the bed. We will definitely look into this matter seriously and consider to prepare bed side stand in case of guest need. Once again, Mr/Ms. mid214, we would like to extend our sincerely apologies for your unexpected experience, however, we hope your SE Asia trip is not disappointing overall. We I would like to invite you back in the near future. We will ensure you have a new impression of Fusion Suites Saigon. Meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact me directly (ray.zhang@fusionhotelgroup.com) for any further discussion. Wish you have a delightful and safe trip home. Onwards & upwards, Ray Zhang

Fusion Saigon
This is a snazzy, funky little hotel, set slightly Northwest of downtown Saigon, but city center’s easily reachable by taxi. Fusion succeeds in creating something of an “alternative” hotel experience. A dedicated crew of young professional staff, fluently multilingual, are the key to crafting this modern feel to staying here.
The standout at this hotel is the breakfast buffet. For a medium sized hotel, the range of offerings is incredible and incredibly delicious. Each morning, the executive chef herself appeared to supervise the buffet. That spread will be hard to forget.
The rest of the hotel experience is pretty unremarkable. Unfortunately, the 10th floor rooftop bar was never open when we stayed there. Had it been, the constantly malfunctioning elevators would have made finding it an adventure. We found ourselves talking the “scenic trip” almost every time we used the lifts (heading to the basement to get to the lobby, e.g.). The basement gym is okay –only one treadmill seems a bit of a lapse.
If you stay here, make sure to check out The Tipsy Cow cocktail bar across the street from the front door. Superb cocktails! (See a separate review). And far more fun the lame karaoke bar around the corner.

This hotel's main selling point was a free spa service for every night of your stay and so unless you take advantage of that offer, it may or may not be worth staying here. I appreciate their health and environmental focus. It promotes a more zen and clean feeling. For example, the morning breakfast is diverse and health-conscious (which can be good balance to the street food) and each room has a glass bottle of water which can be refilled with filtered water in the hallway. The spa service is pretty good and I would definitely make an appointment if possible since everyone in the hotel wants to use this service.

The rooms were clean and modern. I loved that they provided a bluetooth speaker so we can play some music before going to bed or while getting ready. They also have a giant tub in the bathroom, which I think takes up too much space (I would prefer a larger shower area), but if you do get a chance to soak in a bath, it's totally worth it.

The room aesthetic is very heavy on wood (its like EVERY item in the room is made out of wood) and the fact that the bathtub requires an absurd amount of water makes me think twice about the eco impact but hey, it stills puts the guest in an nature-orientated and environment-friendly mindset.

Lovely quirky room, comfy bed.
Good location for sightseeing
Really nice spa where we both had a massage, me a foot and leg massage and the other half a full body massage. Both in same room, hour long. Bit difficult to make booking, but enjoyed it.
Breakfast was quite good, but not amazing choice.
We ate in the evening on the patio area at the front of hotel, comfy seating and road was not too busy, so pleasant is the evening warmth.
staff friendly and helpful.
We had a kitchen area, sink, loads of cupboards and a microwave but no cutlery or plates, just normal tea/coffee tray. Probably will provide if you ask?

From memory, they definitely have a bottom sheet! The light duvets were very nice and the temperature in the room easily controllable. I can’t honestly remember if there was a top sheet under the duvet; I'm sure if you wanted one they're put one on. This is a very chilled, stylish but understated quality place to stay in a great location. The staff are great and nothing was too much trouble. Get it booked! You won't be disappointed.
