Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The egg coffee was delicious. Clean and enjoyable establishment. We broke a piece of ceramic and the owner insisted we don't pay them for the damage. Very friendly and good people. We made sure to give them a review to repay the karma, so hopefully this inspires you!

Stayed in a nice private room with a giant bed and everything was fine. Cannot recommend them enough to book your travels. They helped me get to Ninh Binh and Cao Bang with very good prices and they're always available to reply to my questions by WhatsApp. Sometimes they were replying to me even when not working and got me good with companies that I would pay directly. Shout out to Win and Phong, thanks for being available at all times and answering my never ending questions

The hotel is in a small bustling street of old quarter Hanoi. Rooms with balcony are big with natural light. All amenities are works well like AC, fan, hot water and fridge. Staffs are super friendly. Room cleanliness is little bit lacking. Breakfast is very basic. Everything is in your walking distance which we really enjoy. Overall nice stay .. :)

Located right in the centre, not on a main road so nice and quiet at night. Comfy beds awesome showers. Theres a guy called win who was very cool and welcoming. Also a lovely old Lady called Snowy who was willing to help me book my flights to thailand for a cheaper price and put up with my awful guitar playing. If you meet her give her a massage x

I traveled alone to Hanoi to start my trip across the country. My room was very nice and comfortable. The best part of this hostel/hotel is the staff. Many friendly faces helped me on my journey but most of all Snowy helped me in Hanoi and helped me to book flights to the island paradise of Pho Quoc and then to Saigon. She got all my reservations in order and booked a taxi to the airport for less than Grab:):) Thank you!!!

Myself and two friends stayed here just one night but were helped so much by AnAn and the other staff here! When we arrived in Hanoi even though we weren’t staying the night that night, because of onward travel, they allowed us to rest in the chill out room and store our luggage there all day! AnAn also did a fantastic job of booking us a bus to Sapa and recommending things to do there that matched our budget and requests, she even helped us to book a car to the airport while we were staying somewhere else. See You At Lily’s goes above and beyond in terms of service and the beds a super comfy as well!!

Had a lovely stay here! What a great place with great staff who always help you out. Especially Snowy. I actually left this hotel and forgot my wallet in the room with over £1000 in - when I went back a few hours later the lovely Snowy had kept it for me - definitely worth a visit! 10/10

This is a great hostel in Hanoi Old Quarter! Great customer service, friendly, English speaking, can set up any tours you want! Snowy is the best hostess! Close to shopping, museums and walking streets! Very clean, high recommendation. I stayed in both bunk room $6 a night and private room $20 a night!

I highly recommend anyone traveling through Northern Vietnam to make See You at Lily's your home base. Great hostel for those traveling on a budget or young couples wanting to see the beauty of the country but may wish to have a private room. My fiance and I were referred to stay here by a friend who had been previously. We had a private room which served our privacy needs perfectly with all the desired comforts of staying in an Air BnB or hotel. Rides to and from the airport are also arranged by the hostel to make getting in and out of Hanoi that much easier. The travel agency portion of the business is excellent as well! I highly recommend talking to Snowy, she will tell you of all the options for what you want to see and tell you about excursions you may not know about. She comprised an itinerary that gave us the most out of our stay in Vietnam. We had a diverse itinerary, getting tours of the more well known areas (Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh) as well as tours showing the local culture (home stay in Sapa and touring small towns outside of Hanoi). She will expertly find trips that suit your interests and organize everything for you, just be ready when she tells you to be! She even checked in with us to see if we enjoyed our various trips and made sure we would be ready for what was scheduled the next day. Overall, comfortable stay, great customer service, and I was able to experience so much more that I thought possible and it was all organized for me!
