Stayed only a night. Location is great and after 3 hotels before this, I can say it is rather rare to have a bath tub for soaking after long walk day so it was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I am unhappy about is their bath towels...too thin!

We turned up after 20 hours travel at the 2pm check in time to be told that (a) the room we booked was not available and (b) that the alternative room wasn't ready yet. We waited and hour to be put in a one bedroom with a stretcher when we booked for four people! We asked to only be charged...

We got transferred to this hotel because ours didn't have electricity. This hotel was better than the one we were supposed to stay at, which we did stay at for the next 3 nights. The room was clean, nothing like the photos on the booking page, but nice anyway. I actually slept well after a rough day. The window had...

The hotel is a little old and tired, the linen could do with an update especially the towels! They are yellow in colour, smelly and look and feel like they've been used for the last 20 years. And the aircon is also old and noisy !!! The service is good, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Shame that all...

We were very satisfied with our stay. Friendly staff (James and Annie!) were helpful and kind. James helped us arrange a taxi across town, and was easy to talk to, very friendly. Room had only a window that opened to the hallway corridor, but strong A/C., which helped greatly. Breakfast served in the hotel's dining room each morning. Good strong...

Incredible staff! So helpful and professional! Great rooms at amazing rates!! Can't recommend highly enough!! I had an issue in Ho Chi Minh so arrived with no phone or cards! The young lady at reception called local phone retailers and negotiated a deal and assisted with my cards been sent to hotel!!

Location is good for the old quarter, but it's not for the faint hearted, certainly. Rooms look and feel dated and in need of a refit. Certainly not palatial, but at the prices they charge, I'm not really complaining too much. The welcome was warm and friendly although the map we were given was a little out of date. Also,...

I happened to stay here as the former hotel had a mistake. The best thing is it's break fast. It was order-made so hot and great. In the room, also comfortable to stay. One double bed and one extra bed in one room for us. And the location is great, because we could walk so Hanoi Church, and old town.

Had a great time at this hotel thanks to the good care of Mr Tony Phuong, the hotel manager. Although the hotel plumbing is outdated, the team at the hotel made our stay comfortable and memorable and attended to maintenance promptly. Breakfast was great with enough varieties for all tastes. They even give you breakfast take away pack if you...

So I decided to go to Vietnam for the first time alone. I literally bought a ticket 5 days before I left. The staff here at Hanoi palace were beyond amazing. They even had a whatsapp to contact. Replies were immediate. They took care of my visa approval letter. They have many tour options right from the hotel and their...
