The location is close to perfect : 10min walk to the lake. The front rooms with balcony are spacious and really comfortable but they are a bit loud. The back rooms are smaller and get a lot less light but are very quiet. We stayed there a week or so and what really made our stay was the kindness of... More

We stayed in the Kangaroo hotel on our last night in Hanoi. The hotel is clean and the price is really worth it. Stag is friendly and the owner even got up early to provide its a breakfast as we had to leave at 6 am to catch our plane.

A very good hotel for staying for a few nights to sightsee the city. Close to Old Quaters. Rooms are specious. In the bathrooms the are baths, there are no showers. In some rooms there have been problems with the air conditioner but after reporting to stuff the failure was removed quickly. The stuff is extremly nice, helpful in organising the... More

It is perfect to have it as base in Ha Noi and make diferents tours from here. Our rooms(we stayed at 4 diferents in these days) were... More

From the moment the friendly reception staff welcomed me in I began to relax and to smile again. Then they showed me my beautiful room and I felt quite overwhelmed with gratitude. The hostel is an old french style building with a great deal of ambience. No nasty nylon carpet here! Instead we have polished floors and shining clean linoleum.... More

We stayed there for two nights but we dealed with them for about 7 days in total. First of all, the service was great. They showed a lot of comprehension toward our different situations and gave us a free room for a quick shower and an other free room between two of our tours for sleep between 3 and 7... More

Standard twin room We had a big and light room with one double and one single bed with very comfortable matresses. Room and attached bathroom were very clean (just a bit mocky) and we had hot water. It was a bit noisy but this is because of the busy streets in the old quarter in general. The staff was very... More
