I love staying at Gia Thinh Hotel. The staff are like family. The location is fantastic - right in the centre of the Old Quarter within easy walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. The rooms are spacious, clean & inexpensive. Tony Phuong is always helpful and knowledgeable with all of my travel & tour arrangements throughout the whole of Vietnam....

Everything is comfortable as my house. Service staffs s very friendly and enthusiastic. Living space is beauty and airy. Around the hotel there are many famous tourist attractions. The food is delicious and cheap.

There must be dozens of similar hotels in the Old Quarter. I booked this one through Booking.com for a little over $20 USD per night including breakfast. That's just about as cheap as it gets for a hotel in this part of Hanoi. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and two complimentary...

Stayed here for one night in Hanoi after a day away, having found our previous hotel nearby fully booked. The Gia Thinh was slightly more expensive than our previous hotel but far nicer, so definitely felt it was better value for money. Lovely clean room with nice bathroom. The fresh cooked breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful....

From the time they greeted us at the front door they were there to help you. The room was cute ,old style everything ,lots of woodwork and wrought iron. Very French. You are right in the old quarter, there amidst the real life of Hanoi.. in the centre of the street markets, right out your front door is everything. Food...

Staying here was noisy and felt damp inside. I didn't have a restful sleep at all - you could hear the people next door coughing and showering. Bugs bit me all night. The windows opened to the inside of the hotel and felt very stuffy. The shower was even worse and did not stay on the hook - it definitely...

We started a two week trip around Vietnam and Cambodia in this hotel and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location in Hanoi Old Quarter was brilliant and we loved the view from the balcony - could have spent ages watching the scooters go by! We didn't find the noise from the street below a problem at all...
