The Anise Hotel is in an awesome area close to Markets ( about a 10min walk) food, park, shops etc. it's located in the Old quarter. We stayed in the superior twin room and it was absolutely clean & comfortable. There's a Park bar & coffee place on the ground level, reception is on level 2 and the Restaurant is...

The hotel is small and in a reasonable location. The room was lovely, clean and the bed comfortable. We had a bath as well as a shower. The restaurant is on the top floor and the bar at the ground floor. The breakfast was nice and buffet so you are able to select what you want.

We spent 1 night only in Hanoi at the Hotel Anise. Our guest room was small which was ok as we were arriving late and checking out early morning. Had we planned to stay for a few days we would not have wanted to stay here. The small hotel had a tour group that was also leaving around the same...

Obviously I don't review hotels on the quality of their lifts, but there is some room for improvement. The hotel is clean and tidy the staff are friendly and accommodating, But some minor cosmetic improvement is needed. The breakfast is good with a nice 360 view on the 11th floor of the hotel.

We had a Deluxe room overlooking the park - so a lovely view from our room. The room was faultlessly clean with a modern bathroom, bed was comfortable enough and was clean which is the main thing for me! The breakfast room is on the top floor so amazing sights all round whilst eating your breakfast - which was very...

This was our second visit to the Anise and often when you return you are disappointed, but not here we had great time, the staff are very welcoming just perfect. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is plentiful and of a good standard. Great location, hotel overlooks a park which is very interesting with morning exercise and in the...

The Anise is a brilliant stopover in Hanoi. We dropped our bags off on Wednesday and took the train to Sapa. We returned 5am Sunday morning to spend the day there before taking our plane back home Sunday night. It is comfortable, the staff are helpful and it is centrally located. We just strolled into the heart of the old...

On the downside the hotel didn't have a pool but it was a good base for visiting Hanoi especially the old quarter. The room was fine and the breakfast set us up for the day. All the staff were very helpful. In particular they helped me to recover my suitcase which didn't arrive at the airport with me.

The Anise Hotel is situated in the old quarter of Hanoi, a very busy place and not for the faint hearted as regards crossing the road! it is close to all tourist attractions which is a positive. The accommodation was adequate in that it was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom was in need of an update as the shower...

This was our first stop on a tour of Vietnam. We had a room at the back with little to view out of the window. In Hanoi, that's actually a bonus, as we heard no traffic noise at night. It's a busy and noisy place (but still worth a visit) and this hotel is good value for a short stay.
