Unfortunately, this place was the first place I stayed when I arrived in Vietnam and this place almost ruined my view of Vietnam Avoid this place at all cost! This place is terrible and the staff are even worse. Reading other people's reviews, it seems like they do the switch and bait often. That's what happened to me. I had... More

I booked a room on the 3rd floor for a day and was asked to pay 50% as deposit to secure the room. On that particular day when I wanna check in, the staff told me that the room was given to someone else & gave me a room in 4th floor instead, which has dirty toilet with no hot... More

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF!!!!!!!We've been told that the transfer to the Old Quarter would be free but the person lied to us taking us to this dreadful hotel which we didnt like at all. So in our way to another hotel we've been pushed backwards, insulted and threatened and not only one man but another one and a woman blocked the... More

This hotel is terrible. The rooms are dirty, no sheets on the bed... And on top of that, my iPhone was stolen inside the room on my last day (so no time to go to the police...). Of course the staff wasn't helpful at all and called me a liar. Oh, I almost forgot, there are rats in the luggage... More

We had actually booked Lotus Hotel online, but somehow when the electronic reply was sent to us, it reflected the hotel as the Hanoi Spirit House. That started our nightmare with the staff of this hotel. Prior to arrival, we corresponded with the staff through email, checking on train tix to Sapa and so on. In one of their emails,... More

Stayed there for 1 night and had a harrowing experience with the staff. They were extremely rude, even at the slightest request. We were promised a room on the 3rd floor when we walked in to make a booking, but when we checked in the next day, were given the forth floor. When questioned, the counter staff just shouted '4th... DO NOT EVER THINK ABOUT STAYING AT THIS HOTEL. The staff insulted and beat us in the lobby in front of our 4-years old daughter. That is the worst experience we ever had. Besides from that, the rooms are dirty and shabby.

We walked in and made an advance booking for one night stay for a triple room. We were asked to put a deposit in order to secure a room. When we checked in, we were told that the room had been taken up. They suggested another room for us, the room given to us was much bigger with 2 queen... More

When I checked into this hotel, I told the receptionist that I will be staying for 2 nights. When I return to the hotel on the 2nd night at about 10pm, i was told that they had given my room to someone else!!! My things all packed and "placed in the lobby". When I try to reason with them, the... More
