Stayed for five nights earlier in the year. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very small hotel with family atmosphere. Handy to have lift. Location in Old Quarter was great for access to markets, restaurants, shops and river. Great atmosphere - and real Vietnam experience right outside the door. Breakfast included was basic but cooked...

This hotel is situated quite near to old quarters in Hanoi. Staff is really warm with a gesture of smile and help always tagged on their faces. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel from 2ndJuly to 5 July, 2016 and also took the Halong Bay cruise through them. Hotel manager Mary is endearing and Ayi ( another staff)...

Good choice for a budget hotel in Hanoi's old town. We stayed two nights in mid-June. The location is excellent, and our room was nice. We had a lovely balcony and plenty of natural light. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. The shower was Western style with a stall/door. We had some issues with the wifi,...

The hotel is very comfortable, we had a delux room with terrace, very spacious and clean. They helped us hire our tour to Halong Bay, Tam Coc And tickets for to go Ionac , helped us all the time with taxi and recommendations of the city. All staff and manager are always looking to help and solve all our needs....

I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff was very helpful in all matters, the breakfast which was originally not included but then served for free as well was good, wifi was working properly, the location is very good... Highly recommended if you are on a budget and still looking for privacy...

Highly recommend. Just round the corner from all action in the Old Quarter but in a quiet street. Staff so eager to please and kind. Breakfast included - omelette, fruit & coffee - simple but good. We stayed 5 days and loved it. Hanoi is very busy but this is a sweet escape from the mayhem!

When we arrived i felt really sick. The staff was helpfull and so friendly. Everything was clean, and the breakfast is great! This hotel has a very good location, in the middle of downtown. We had a good time here!

Great, affordable and high quality hotel with a friendly and attentive staff. Very centrally located in the old quarter, but off the beaten path, near a great traditional market! Highly recommended! I have spent over 3 weeks in Hanoi at Hanoi Gate hotel!
