the staff is very helpful and helps arrange tours and transportation. they were very friendly even before we stayed there and gave us a lot of information about how to get there and how much we should pay for the taxi to get to the hotel (saved us a lot of money).

I originially wrote a review of this place containing an e-mail that the disgraceful lady who runs it wrote to my private e-mail address, I can only assume she got this from my hostelworld booking as I definitely would not choose to keep in contact with her. This e-mail was too disgusting for tripadvisor to print. The hostel was awful,... More

Reasonable and fantastic stay at this hotel. Tour booking safety and good rate. We recommend and vote this hotel to be the 1#. Moreover, when we back from our trip in Ha long, we have stayed at its brother hotel – Hanoi Green street – we were all satisfied.

Old Street Hostel (now seemingly called Green Street Hostel) is a good enough place to stay if you want a cheap option with private rooms in the old quarter of Hanoi. My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights in total. After looking at several hotels within the same price range, we find Old Street hotel of good value and one of the most well-kept in the area. The room is cleaned daily, breakfast is good, the staff are friendly and the location is fantastic. We did get a few... More

My Vietnamese wife and family stayed here recently and like others we were repeatedly asked again and again when we would book a cruise. We intended all along to see Ha Long Bay but we are not backpackers and after reviewing fancy brochures picked and paid extra for an "upscale looking" boat and tour package...DOLPHIN TOURS. We got nothing of... More
