This hotel is not located in the very busy and crowded old city but the area around the hotel is still a lot of fun. With the university close by there are lots of young people, and a lot of local restaurants and a mall. Since the area is much less touristy you get a great feel of the real...

My friends told me about this hotel concerning my privilege whilst staying there. And I must confess, this hotel is more than meet the eyes and it turned out to be far beyond my first expectation. The staffs are well-trained and helpful, not to mention those witty jokes and polite manners of them. Daily and regular meal is quite good,...

After three months I came back to the hotel, the service has been upgraded, the staff are very friendly and willing to help, breakfast is also improved with much richer dishes. Nothing to complain, everything was perfect for me.

Overrated + over priced hotel. Poor staff attitudes for a self rated 4 star hotel. 2 or more staff members were talking loudly on the corridor waking me up @ around 5:30am, i got out & told them to keep quiet @ 6am, & rang up reception to tell them to stop talking @ 6:15 before I get some quietness...

I recently stayed at the Bao Son International Hotel in Hanoi on my first trip to Vietnam. Service by staff - Excellent, very friendly & helpful. Rooms - Great value, spotlessly clean. Meals - We had a western style breakfast every morning in the hotel. Fresh fruit, bacon & eggs etc. Really good!!! I would recommend this hotel highly. Dallas,...

It's not luxurious, but this is a good hotel. Working AC, clean linens every day, good TV channels, in room safe, breakfast is good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The pool is old but clean and is nice after a day in the Hanoi heat. It's not close to Old Quarter, but the cab ride is only about 15-20...

After some wild partying in Vietnam I wanted to relax at the Boa Son hotel. The room was clean decent size and the television was good. I got a room at the end of the building near house keeping. The house keeping was loud and the Internet not so good. The pool was big but dirty and terrible maintained. the...

The smell of insecticide smacks you in the nostrils as you enter the lobby. Too bad it's not enough to deal with the bug problem on the 8th floor. And that's just the beginning of the problems with this hotel in an outlying business district of Hanoi. While it's good to skip the crazy Hanoi traffic to be close to...

This is a run-down hotel that has many issues beyond its simple appearance. One of our room's beds turned out to be two box springs on top of one another. As we were sharing the room the semi-transparent 'frosted' pane of glass that divided the shower area of the bathroom and the main room proved to be awkward. Judging by...
