The room was clean and comfortable and we got upgraded on our last night. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a short walk too the centre of Hanoi and there's a good little street cafe on the opposite corner.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a package tour and very much enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable and clean room. Quite a noisy position but what do you expect in the centre of a city. We have enjoyed our brief stay in Hanoi.

Stayed here for 2 nights - part of a tour. Room was quite spacious as was bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, but no view as it was in a well with other buildings around. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Whilst we were there, the top floor restaurant opened and we were...

We stayed here as part of a tour so didn't have a say in the hotels. This hotel was our first taste of Vietnam and it's people. Its fairly small and narrow but in a good central location. The staff were lovely - very helpful and charming. They helped us to organise a street food tour for the night we arrived...

The hotel is close to the lake and is in the Old Quarter. There was a good choice for breakfast both continental and oriental. Room size was ok but each room we had (checked in several times) with a bath we had problem with water leaking and dropping to the floor. Thin at the reception was very helpful who helped...

We stayed at this hotel twice during our travels. We found the location excellent for getting around, with easy access by tour buses (easy pickup). Also right across the street from Sapa Express (a bus service to Sapa). Our room was great. There was some construction going on during the day as I understand they are renovating the restaurant. Breakfast...

2nd visit to Hanoi, and the 2nd time we stayed at the Authentic Hanoi. Great spot within the "Old Quarter" very close to anything you'd like to eat or visit. Great rooms, clean, hot water and very helpful staff. I'd def stay here again if I Visit Hanoi for a 3rd Time.

Staying in this hotel in the Old Quater gave our family a sense of being in authentic Hanoi. The hotel was clean and comfortable with breakfast included. It was close to everything. And finding our way around was quite easy.

The location of this hotel is brilliant it is ideal for getting around Hanoi. The staff like every where in Vietnam are very good, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is varied and the omelettes are great.

When we booked we requested a room with a window as postings on Tripadvisor had mentioned this being a problem. We got a window, all six inches cleverly covered by a large curtain. Unfortunately the dining room was being renovated so we had to have breakfast in a cramped space adjoining the foyer. Good location, clean and good service but...
