Loved this hotel. Very large room, beautiful bathroom with a walk in shower. Hotel is on the street, but because of the double glazing I could not hear any traffice noise. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. Dining room staff were also excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this lower priced hotel. Was also within easy reach of town.

We stayed three times during our visit to Vietnam in August. We used this conveniently located hotel as our base while touring the northern region. The email communication prior to arrival was excellent and the young manager Tuy also helped arrange touring bookings for us. Right from the airport pick up, all ran smoothly with our stays at the Marigold Hotel.

The Marigold Hotel is located in the Old Quarter and is a short walk to the market. The facilities at the hotel were excellent the staff very friendly and helpful, and we were able to store baggage long term with them.

We had three different rooms( 704, 604, and 201) for three stays at the hotel and the beds were all very comfortable, (some beds in Asia are very firm) these were softer by comparison. We had two back rooms which were very quiet and one front room, which was also quiet despite the volume of traffic outside.

Breakfast was on the 10th floor and sometimes a buffet. You can order eggs to your liking, fried, omlette but I would not choose poached unless you like your eggs raw, the fresh fruit and yoghurt was nice and a choice of pastries. They also had traditional breakfast, noodles, rice etc. We were leaving early one morning and requested a "take away" breakfast which was waiting for us at reception for a 5am departure.

All in all it was a great hotel with fantastic people and service, nothing was any trouble for them. I can highly recommend a stay here.

Our stay in Marigold Hotel was good or should I say, beyond our expectation. Fantastic local within walking distance and, most importantly, a bit of fresh air after the heavily polluted and unbreathable city central. The hotel delivers everything you want and was also a good place to stay with ( well behaved) children. Our boys had a great time lobby and the staff there could not do enough for them. Room was so nice and very clean. All the staff were friendly, from the front desk to the room maids. They speak good English, very pleasant & very helpful, always making sure that we are comfortable and attending to our needs. Delicious breakfast as well. We highly recommend this hotel!

Overall, this hotel fulfills all its promises. The staff speaks English, which in Vietnam is not the case everywhere, and is very caring. We were able to order a taxi to the airport for 04:30 am. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with a superb bathroom. We chose one with a balcony and view of the water, and it was lovely. The staff is efficient, discreet and very attentive, and of course adds up to the charm of this beautiful place. I truly recommend it.

I stayed here for a week during trip in Vietnam.

Good location, near old quarter, comfortable cafe right front, millions of restaurant around.
Reasonable price for a luxury room within free wi-fi, tasty break fast, travel agency.
Especially people working here were very nice. speaking good English also.
Best customer service I've ever had.

I will definitely stay this hotel again.
Thank you very much!

I stayed in a basic room at this hotel for four nights at the end of a long trip and it was unforgettable. The staff was extremely helpful, informing us some nice attraction in PHO CO. The room was as well equipped as it was beautiful decor with lots of special touches. The bath products were first rate. The location is nearby many shopping and restaurants. Very convinient to buy some gift for my friend. The public spaces in the hotel are beautiful and very comfortable with a computer which help us surfing Internet. This hotel was worth every dime with a resonable price.

We travel in group and the hotel was arranged by travel agent.
Get to know that the hotel is new and located at busy street. The staff was friendly and kind. Remember to collect the free map which simple and useful map printed by hotel’s management, it won’t let you get lost.
Each floor only having 4 rooms if not mistaken, and I was arranged at the front room, I stay in 501, I guess it should be Executive room or Deluxe room, it was amazing and big enough!! It lets me feel luxury to having that room! While be prepared the noise from the vehicles.
And I have visit my other tour members room, each room are different design and some rooms are no window and small. Hence, please check clearly the room you want.
Each floor is having free wifi and no problem in connection. Furthermore, the drinks are complimented which provided in the mini bar, especially beer! The satellite TV is working well, and the bed was toooo comfortable!
Maybe it is still new, I found it is having limited space to serve breakfast, and it is not much selection, well the foods are not bad.
The location is not close to Dong Xuan night market, you may need to walk 15 – 20 min to get there, but it is safe. There is some restaurant and café nearby, no worry on the food arrangement.

Good value for money accomadation, very helpful with early arrivals from trips. We must say that we loved this hotel and all the staff, some of who are as can be. Incredible service, booked out but willing to store our luggage at no cost. We had room on the 3th floor with a balcony overlooking the street. Although it can be incredibly noisy, but we didn't hear much noise when sleeping. The room was very clean, huge and nice decor. Would recommend to all travellers as location to most city sights.

A long drawn business schedule forces you to stay for a week and a half and this is when you begin to thank yourself that you chose this place. Great location, excellent in-house breakfast. The hotel is geared to meet all the needs of a businessman settling down to a long drawn business schedule. The space in the room is ergonomically designed to reduce your works strain. If you are tired of your ‘home’ food just go to the restaurant in the hotel and you will thank me for it.
