The location was fabulous near the Opera, major squares, parks and restaurants. The property had gracious Vietnamese service with the marks of a luxury French hotel. We enjoyed breakfast in the pleasant cafe

The hotel is in a good location near the Hoan Kiem lake and the Old Quarter. We stayed here twice during our trip. The bedrooms follow a theme but each has an individual touch. The best were rather high and it was quite a climb to get in even for me at 5'7" but they were so comfortable the climb...

This was the first hotel we stayed in our tour. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff are very helpful and there was a warm welcome. Our room was large and comfortable. The gym is good and worth visiting. If I had known there was a hot tub, I would have gone prepared. Changing...

Great location near Hoan Kiem lake which is very walkable especially on weekends when the roads around the lake are closed to cars and the area becomes a pedestrian zone. Many shops and great restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. New bottled water was brought to the room within minutes of calling the front desk. The...

Traveled with my daughter to Vietnam. Our first stop was Hanoi and we stayed at Hotel de l' opera. The hotel is very well located in the center of town, near many restaurants and night life and near the lake. Service was great, breakfast was excellent. The room itself was very well appointed. The bathroom a little in the small...

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location a stones throw from the opera house and two minutes to Hoi Kiem lake. Well worth the extra to stay in a suite as this allows you free drinks and tapas in the lovely La Fee Vert bar ( fab mojito's) from 5:30 to 7 . The Satine restaurant in the hotel serves...

This hotel is very well situated enabling us to walk to many places of interest easily. The staff were delightful and the room comfortable and despite the traffic outside, very quiet. We enjoyed eating in the unusual dining room in an atrium where the food was exceptionally delicious. A really good place to stay for a city visit.

The hotel is relatively small, but very well appointed. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. We had a Deluxe room, and it was very nice indeed. We were at the side of the hotel which was good as the main road outside can be quite busy, and as you are in North Vietnam. there are loudspeakers attached to the...
