We stayed here twice over the last few years and its very different and cool. The rooms were different design both times with amazing beds and super modern design, the twist is the classic piazza style "outside" area inbetween the buildings - that has a completely glassed in ceiling so its quiet, sunny and clean. Quite different and worth a...

My first impression of the room was that it was dark. In fact, black seemed to be the dominant decorating color. They were definitely going for a quirky, modern vibe. Having said that, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. The windows all opened to an inner atrium. The breakfast was very good. The pho...

Very nice hotel in a great location (straddling the Old Quarter and the French Quarter), with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hotel bar and its attached atrium were a great place to relax in between excursions.

I stayed at the L'opera for 3 nights as part of a business tour to Vietnam. The hotel is close to the lake and the cultural heart of Hanoi so is well situated. The perfumed and air conditioned lobby is staffed by helpful staff and the lifts are fast and efficient. The room was fabulous; large and open, with a...

It is a nice hotel very well located with an excellent service. One can get to know old Hanói, its main lake and the Puppet Theatre by walking from this hotel. Its restaurant is also a very good place to have dinner.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Rooms are fine but the bed? How can it be so high that I found out difficult to get in and my wife needed a step up stool? The shores with which the hotel slugged the still suggests this is a common problem. Can anyone tell me why a bed has to be...

Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful sstaf with good command of english. Rooms are huge ( beds are a bit high!), amenities are perfect. Need to review some details like AC or towel rail ((oming off the wall!). Extremly clean. Perfect location especially to discover Hanoi' main attractions on foot. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. There are plenty of other...

The hotel itself is a little quirky but the service is excellent. Close to the old city, very helpful as to where to see sites and places to eat. Was very impressed after we came back from Halong Bay when they offered us a place to shower before going to the airport.

This hotel is beautiful inside and outside, placed near the Opera house and the main lake, which is closed to traffic over the weekend. The rooms are beautiful and bathrooms interesting. The pool is cold, the only complaint really, we still had a swim though. Oh, and French music played in the bar which was painful at times :) but...

We have just visited this hotel for 2 nights and we loved it. The rooms & bathrooms are lovely and spacious, they have a gym open 24 hours with an indoor pool with and outside lounging area looking out on to the French quarter of Hanoi. Breakfast was lovely and the staff delivered excellent service. The location was in the...
