Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I just stayed one night and the room was generally fine. The hotel public areas were fine too and the staff was helpful. My main problem was that the room was a bit too hot and adjusting the thermostat had no effect so I called the front desk. They sent the maintenance man up and he said the room thermostats did not work and temperatures were set centrally. Then he used a ladder to get inside the ceiling vent to make an adjustment. His adjustment didn't help but it was nice he tried. A smaller issue was the the pipe for the shower head was detached from the wall as the screws in the bracket that held it to the wall came out. That was not a bid problem but care was required. Otherwise, the was comfortable and quiet.

While its not the best in Hanoi by a long way, I was actually pleasantly surprised compared to the reviews i had read. I found the service helpful and responsive, the building and rooms in good shape and overall experience positive. So overall good- though importantly not near any of the tourist areas

For the price, you can get better service at smaller, more centric hotel. The facilities were there, but they don't have enough personals to make it work smoothly. Breakfast was average and it took a decent amount of time to check in. Our room is spacious though.

Front office have problems in waking up guests. The breakfast buffet has a poor choice, waiters do not speak English. The Lobby looks like a train station entrance with little decor. The Korean restaurant food is not really up to taste.

The hotel is located nearby Vincom mall, a shopping center, good access if you want to do a little shopping. It has a big room, but the furniture style I feel a bit like Chinese style. Very comfy bed. The breakfast is too little food selection to me, I expected at this hotel level it should have more variety of food for breakfast. Most of staff have good English and good hospitality.

Check in staff and chambermaids are all very polite and ever ready to provide assistance. Room amenities is average and cleanliness is very good, could be improved for better guest satisfaction. Breakfast choice is limited, but good enough .

Stayed one night with my family. The one room was were not ready when we arrived after 5pm and had to wait for it to be cleaned. The staff were not helpful and did not even seem to pretend to want to help. After waiting we had to go and check to see if the room was ready as there was no notification from the hotel staff. The rooms are very dated and not well maintained and smell. The beds were terrible and the air conditioning did not really work. Breakfast was like feeding cattle with little coordination, very poor food without taste, and no Gluten Free options? Wanted to give feed back at checkout but they not even interested. Maybe they think just because we are travelling as a family we would not be repeat customers I get to travel a lot for work and stay in many 5 star hotels in Hanoi, Vietnam and South East Asia and this is diffidently not a 5 star hotel and this hotel is not a 5 star I would give it one I would not stay there again. There are many other hotels in Hanoi that are actually give the service and facilities of a 5 star hotel to stay at like the one I am at now.

The hotel smells, the air conditioning is noisy and doesn’t cool. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast from the menu and it arrives with bacon and sausages. I had to send it back. On my last trip I had to beg the hotel staff to have a decent cup of tea at the buffet breakfast which is why I decided to order room service this time. There are many more much nicer hotel in the city. If you have a choice: AVOID this one.

I was in Hanoi for a business trip and stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. As my flight got delayed by a day due to some technical fault in the plane, Hotel management was very helpful they readily changed the booking at last moment. I checked in around 11 PM, the process was smooth and the hotel room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was really big and having a nice bathtub. The bathroom had a very large window with a view of the whole room, there could be a privacy issue when staying with family. Breakfast area was nice and had different varieties of breakfast served. Hotel room seemed a little overpriced for facilities provide. The surrounding area was good.. there a shopping mall nearby..lot of eatery places ..mostly Asian food available.
