Set amidst the bustle of Hanoi's Old Quarter with its shops, bars, restaurants and mad street life, an oasis of luxury. Very efficient and very friendly staff especially the head receptionist who is a very helpful young lady. My room was really clean and comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the old town. The breakfast buffet is delicious offering a...

We were so happy we made the move to this one for our last night. The location is right in the heart of the old quarter. Surrounded by great shopping, great food and beautiful walks. Definitely a good choice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. It is located near the lake and is central to many attractions or within a good walking distance. Comfortable rooms with all the normal amenities and staff can help with anything.

A great location in the old quarter. You are in the centre of the markets, lake and atmosphere of Hanoi. Very clean and friendly. We stayed there as part of our tour and found it suited our needs well.

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights. We paid for a suite and did not get the room we had booked and paid for. Instead we got an old dirty room with single beds - 3 sets of towels etc in bathroom. They were still adamant that we were in a suite for 2 people! They didn't care at...

Set right in the old quarter it is perfectly placed for touring the town. It is very close to the lake which is lovely to walk around. Being in the centre it is noisy, with traffic, horns and bizarrely cockerels! I've found the answer is ear plugs, for any hotel really, as there are always different noises that will disturb...

First time to Hanoi and we enjoyed our stay at the May de Ville hotel, staff very helpful and accommodating and we were right in the hub of the action . Our friends travelling with us were on a street facing room which was a little noisy. The breakfast was extensive and and very good , we all thought it...

We enjoyed our short stay at May de Ville Hotel. We stayed for two nights in between a overnight cruise at Ha Long Bay. Nice, clean rooms. Would suggest a room toward back of building though as at the front of building you get the street noise late at night. Currency exchange (AUD) was lower than Hoi An, was 15,000...

I have celiacs disease and usually rely on getting some steamed rice at breakfast as a safe and filling option. Staff blatantly said no because there is a fried rice option. I explained I can't have soy sauce and the staff just said they couldn't do it. All I ate this morning was a small range of fruit. Also, our...
