Good and friendly service, and nice breakfast too! Overbooked but we got upgraded to stay at the royal room so it was worth it! Would recommend to others! Although it gets confusing as there are 2 hotels, you'll learn to find which is which in a day probably!

Hanoi is a city full of budget hotels. Royal Palace appeared to be just another choice among the many. Seemed fine for a 2 night stay before Halong Bay. My girlfriend and I found them to be well below even budget hotel expectations. - AC was not nearly cold enough for August. We requested a fan to make it tolerable,...

This hotel has been great! The room is beautiful, with a nice bathroom (hot water!) and good A/C. Tony, who works at the front desk, was awesome helping us book a tour to Halong for an excellent price. The breakfast was really good too (try the chicken sandwich!). Also has a fantastic location.Highly recommend!

Good location, helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Nice and simple place to stay! David 2 is a very nice and welcoming guy. I was having some flight trouble and he was very willing to help me out, made sure I knew where to go, and even tried on his own to call and see if he could help. Wonderful customer service.

This hotel was set off the main street which made it a little quieter than those located directly on the street. Tony the hotel manager was a HUGE help to us many times over suggesting places to eat, organizing taxis, and even helping me get medication when I was sick. We also booked a Halong Bay tour through the hotel...

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable- a lot bigger than we expected. Breakfast is good. There is wifi in the hotel which is an added bonus! From the moment we stepped foot in the front door we fell in love with the place. The marble floor and stained wooden furniture was truely breathtaking. Our rooms were bigger than we expected and there was wifi on every floor. The breakfast was also Devine. Excellent location too . Great value for money and staff make you feel very...
