Excellent location, nice walk as soon as you arrive towards the old city, very clean and everyone is kind. We used the laundry service, they returned our clothes as new, packaged in cardboard, incredible, at a negligible price. Excellent breakfast, everything perfect, thanks to everyone

This hotel is a bit dated but seemed clean enough. The room was comfortable and the bathroom huge but the one problem we had was a loud, steady, electrical humming coming from somewhere near the door or a/c unit. When the porter delivered the TV remote missing from the room, we pointed this out and he went through all the lights etc that we had already tried before giving up and leaving us to it. We would have insisted on being moved if we had stayed for longer than the one day we were here.

Incidentally, the hotel is very handy for the Temple of Literature, which is pretty and well worth a visit, but not near to much else, as far as we could see.

I haven't been traveled to Asia for 10 years and to Hanoi Vietnam for 11 years. It's really good to have a site like this for people to compare and make their choice about their holiday as like all over the world, things change everyday not every decade.

We took our trip to China to visit family and a friend of mind recommended us to stop by Vietnam for a few days. We booked for Hanoi Emotion Hotel by reading the feedback on Tripadviser and made our move.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful and the price is excellent (around AU$ 22-25). We had a great time there.

It's so convenience to visit the city from our hotel also the front line staff will book a reliable taxi for you if you asked them to. Not just that, they are happy to exchange the money to you at good price. Mr Kevin at the front desk even reminded me when AUD got stronger to exchange, feel like they care more about your stay than you ever expected.
The rooms are clean and bright, it's a 3 star hotel but I personally think that the room quality is a bit higher than 3 stars standard. I had a good sleep especially after spending a horrible night at Changi Airport Hotel.

Breakfast is very nice and plenty of option to choose. Hotel food is good and clean and not too expensive even compare to street food. If you ask nicely, the staff will show you where to have proper food outside of the hotel. I traveled with small child so it's just more convenience to eat at the hotel, the food is better quality anyway.

To sum up, I'm very happy with my stay. Will definitely come back again if I have a chance.

The Hanoi Emotion Hotel is an excellent choice for visiting in Hanoi, Vietnam, and I hope to stay there again on my next trip to Hanoi. Do not judge this hotel by its street front – walk in and be impressed. First up our taxis were always met on the street by helpful staff to carry our luggage. In fact all the hotel staff we met were friendly, helpfully, considerate & efficient (Big thanks to Mr Kevin). A lovely touch is the welcome drink & fruit basket waiting in our room – most unexpected! There was also a pleasant aroma from the bowl of rose petals. I stayed in suite room with imperial size bed, It’s so lovely. I got beautiful sleep. The breakfast was my favorite meal of the day – what an incredible view!! The breakfast staff were outstanding in their service & friendliness. The breakfast food was a great range – do try the pastries!! On first glance, Hanoi traffic is quite frightening to navigate on foot – so please ask the hotel staff for the safest walking route to your destination (or take a taxi). You have only minutes to walk to the Literature of temple and fine art museum. If I had to find a fault – I wish the hotel had a pool so I could soak up the Hanoi magic longer and I wish I had more money to spend at the many nearby boutiques selling beautifully-tailored clothing. Still, I think the Hanoi Emotion Hotel is definitely of 5 star quality. HOW ABOUT YOU ?.

Hanoi Vietnam is my first Asia trip so I was a bit confused about choosing accommodation, places to visit etc. I don't like to go with tour even though it's cheaper as I like to be free doing whatever I want especially when I am in vacation.
My son recommended me to check on tripadvisor to choose hotel, the most important thing when you are away from home. He is a big tripavidor fan lol even to choose restaurant in Melbourne where he lives for 34 years.
I chose Hanoi Emotion Hotel totally based on the feedback. They also have arrangement to pick me up from the airport which is so crowed and messy, so hard to find the way out. Luckily I found my name on a board of a nice well dressed young lady and she took me to the car and we went to the airport with some others passengers.
The hotel is small but I personally think it's very good consider to be a 3 star hotel.
The room is nice and clean, very quiet, I had a good rest after my 9 hour flight and 3 hour transit sleepless and exhausted. The bed is so comfortable and nicely clean. I am really happy, it's almost as good as home.
The street in the front of my hotel is so crowed and busy, I had to ask the staff to call me their reliable taxi who I can trust and I know that they won't overcharge me by driving around or playing with their mettre machine like my friends had warned me before I left lol
Hotel food is very tasty and have lots of choice, I love the view from the 10th floor of the hotel, that is amazing what they have built with a tiny bit of land, it's just amazing I totally love it. I am a fan of Asian food myself but even a fancy restaurant in Melbourne is nothing compare to the food here, the waitress explained to me that food here is more authentic than back home, well, of course it's is, they chose the best quality and freshest ingredients.
The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I learnt a lot from the front staffs. They taught me some basic Vietnamese words, showed me where to go to visit, booked my next trip to Ha Long Bay (which is also amazing place) and Da Nang (love it love it love it).
I had a really good trip and I will be back if I had a chance and I am 100% sure to recommend everybody to take a trip to Vietnam and try Hanoi Emotion Hotel. Great work you guys!!!!

It was a pleasant to have spent a short stay in Hanoi Emotion Hotel. I have previously stayed in a few 3star-rated hotel in Ha Noi but this one has put a great factor in my experience.
During our stay in Hanoi Emotion Hotel, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Cable television and free WIFI (good signal) were available, so we were never bored whenever we were resting. Furniture and flooring were made of wood which made the room feel homely. We had daily breakfast at the top level of the hotel (level 10) with an incredible view which consisted of a good spread and you will eventually be familiar with 3 of the staff who will consistently be there to serve on the floor. They can converse effectively in English (most of the staff can), friendly and helpful.
We seek quite a bit of help from the receptionist to call for meter taxis, check on taxi fares to particular locations, local market prices and other local information. We thought we did quite a bit of research back home but we still lacked quite a bit of local know-how and the receptionist filled in those minor gaps for us voluntarily. We felt very much looked after and prepared for the day whenever we left the hotel. It was a pity that I couldn't get the names of all 3 receptionists on duty while we were there. They do deserve special mention. They were so happy to help me out when I was struggling finding out where I should go or what I should do while in Ha Noi. They have made my stay even more joyful and happy. Number one reasonable-price Hotel in Ha Noi that I highly recommend visitors to stay in if you are looking at to book accommodation.

Hanoi Emotion Hotel is a great choice, if you are planning to visit Hanoi. For us, it was an amazing experience to be there and to enjoy Hanoi beauty with warm and welcoming staff. Being in the heart of Hanoi, we enjoyed easy access to nearly all interesting places. For example, it took us 2 minutes to reach the Temple of Literature and 10 minutes to West Lake. The room was fabulous and quiet. We stayed in the suite room furnished with exquisite and lovely imperial size beds.Food and especially, the breakfast was delightful. The staff is more reliable and helpful than any other place I have been to. I am sure that it would be my choice the next time I visit the mystical Hanoi. What about u?
