The Hanoian was a great base as I explored Hanoi and the north of Vietnam. Conveniently located at the edge of the Old Quarter, I never had a problem being picked up by your buses or taxis. Molly at the front desk was incredibly helpful and always took good care of me.

I had the chance to stay in both a superior room and a suite with balcony. The superior room was small and might be quite cramped for 2 people with large suitcases, but was perfect for just me. It faced the internal atrium and was welll sheltered from the noisy city

The suite with balcony was spacious and comfortable. The small balcony was just comfortable to sit out on if I wanted a change from the room.

I’d highly recommend the hotel.

My favorite hotel in Vietnam!
The room was extremely clean, quiet, and an actual soft (quite a rarity) comfortable bed. The breakfast was a good mix of Western and Vietnamese options; and the specialties changed daily.
My favorite part of the hotel, however, was the extremely kind and helpful staff that really go above and beyond in accommodating their guests. The front desk staff of Ann, Kate, Molly and Elsa all helped me out during my stay. Whether it was to help me choose a tour and get the precise itinerary option (I'm picky) and suite I requested; to personally walking with me to the pharmacy and helping me get the proper medicine along with translating with the pharmacist when I ate bad street food pho (It was still tasty, at least.) There's a reason why I, and so many other reviewers speak highly of them, and I agree 100% wholeheartedly.
I stayed here for a total of 5 nights: as I booked a tour to Ha Long Bay with the front desk and came back from a solo 2 day journey to Tam Coc. I initially was only going to stay 2 nights but am very happy to have stayed as long as I did; as Hanoi is a fantastic city as well as the center point of the northern sightseeing triangle of Ninh Binh/Tam Coc, Ha Long Bay, and Hanoi itself. You could even include Sapa, as well.

All in all, you will rest well here, rooster noise was almost non-existent, and the location to walking to many hot spots is usually no more than a 10 minute walk.

Shared a twin room with a friend since we mainly just stayed at the hotel for sleep. The room was a bit small (probably meant for a double bed), but worked for our purposes: jetlag recovery.

The location is away from the hustle of the more touristy areas of the Old Quarter, and close to two mural sites if landing during the middle of the day. Or hot stone massage after a 20-hour flight? Yes please.

After half an hour of reviewing excursion options and questions (sorry Elsa!), we only opted for private van transport to Ninh Binh so we can have the flexibility to motorbike spontaneously. However, our haphazard schedule led to changing pickup time and locations several times, which Elsa handled gracefully for us to enjoy worry-free riding.

We picked up our luggage afterwards and moved onto a hotel near Bia Hoi and Hoan Kiem Lake for the touristy must-dos, but the most memorable part of Hanoi was the experience here.

The service was extremely nice here; the staff tried very hard to please and are very friendly. The location is simply perfect, and our room was clean and great. Their concierge service is terrific and they can get things like boats at Ha Long at better rates than you can get directly online

Nice hotel with super friendly staff and short walking distance to all the sights in Hanoi Old Quarter.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel in between our excursions. We also booked our trip to Sapa through the hotel and this was very well organised and we received excellent service and support from Minh Phương both before and during our trip.

We booked a deluxe double room for our first night and it was good but a bit dated. Upon our early morning return from Sapa, the friendly staff accommodated for early check in and we even got an upgrade to a superior room which was newly refurbished and not facing the busy streets of the old quarter, so it was much quieter. This was highly appreciated and I would recommend to book one of the upgraded rooms for your stay.

All in all, very happy with our stay at this hotel.

In short, a very value for money hotel. During check-in one of the staff, Tiffany was very dedicated in ensuring that the room I got was what I paid for. She was also available during check-out and helped to ensure everything went smoothly for me. The hotel provided spa and massage services too, which was good and although cost a little more than other massage shops outside, was still worth the money and quite reasonably priced. I would recommend it for those who are at a loss of where to go for massage( you may need to do some hunting/ walking around to find alternatives ).

Breakfast was good also. Besides the usual continental breakfast which had sausages, eggs, omelettes and pizza etc, there was also options for local Vietnamese noodles like pho, which came in quite a big bowl.

Hotel slippers were also provided and the built in hairdryer in the bathroom was reasonably strong too. Good for those who have the habit of hairdrying after a shower.

While there is a TV included in the room, the channels are mostly in Vietnamese language and there are no cable TV programs such as Natgeo etc. While there are Chinese and to my surprise, Singaporean Chinese dramas, they are all dubbed in Vietnamese. Hence even if I understood Chinese, I could not understand what was shown on TV. This should not be an issue if you have no plans to watch local TV anyway.

Nevertheless experience here was good and I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a value for money hotel in the Old Quarters of Hanoi City.

I stayed at Hanoian Central Hotel for 3 nights. Overall I thought this Hotel was perfect for what I needed it for. The location was very central, the breakfast which I usually don’t care for was surprisingly very good with plenty of options, the price was a good value for what you pay for. Clean and very polite staff. Molly the front desk manager and all the other staff provided genuine and welcoming smiles. I watched another guest ask for a specific Indian omelette (which wasn’t on the menu for breakfast) and the staff asked what a Masala Omelette was and then accommodated his request. I have zero complaints with staying at Hanoian Central Hotel & Spa. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience Hanoi.

Stayed here for 5 nights in January 2020. The room was great, breakfast was amazing with a great variety every day. We loved the location of this hotel as its in the old district with plenty of cafes, restaurants and we were able to walk through the city every day and find so many amazing areas of the city to enjoy.
Customer service at this hotel is amazing. Tommy, Andrew, Molly and staff are awesome. We felt so welcome from our first step into the hotel. They even provided me with a birthday cake on my birthday which was so lovely and a wonderful surprise. We will definitely return to this hotel.
Breakfast is wonderful as well and the staff in the dining area is great.
Thank you to all😊

Very friendly staff, even at a 0400 arrival. Molly in reception was very friendly and helpful in giving directions and recommendations, as well as keeping our bags safe while we toured around our last day. Room was comfortable amd clean. Great bathroom amd shower, nice hot water. Hotel is downtown so street noise can be heard. Breakfast okay, go for ala care menu.

We stayed here for 2 nights. On arrival, we were offered a few choices of welcome drinks, and cold towel. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food. The location is excellent. We stayed in a triple room (a double and a single bed). The room is large, with large bathroom. The beds are very comfy. Cleanliness is also top notch. Our triple room has balcony overlooking the street, which is nice, but can be problematic for some that aren't used to typical Asian street noise - didn't bother us one bit.

Sorry cannot really help. Not that I want to cause you more anxiety, although the rooms and amenities are good, their front office service leaves a lot to be desired. Suggest the you Google the hotel and when you get to the search result,, there is a chat functionality which supposedly connects you directly to the hotel. I know it is a bit odd but try contacting them during the local Vietnam as m operational hours.
