My friend and I arrived on Oct 21st early morning without the hotel taxi we arranged with mr. Jackson, so we hailed a taxi from the airport which was scary coz the driver cannot understand English. It was an hour drive from airport to the hotel...so you can just imagine the ordeal, aside from the fact that it was raining...

This hotel is in the heart of the old quarter. It is perfectly placed for exploring and situated in one of the quieter streets (if that's possible). The staff were excellent. We had a choice of a room at the back with just a window or at the front with a balcony. We went for the balcony, perfect for watching...

A very good hotel great rooms, we had a double shower in the deluxe double room was very cheap and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Great experience and would recommend to anyone. The rooms were tidy tv reception could be better but Hanoi is entertaining enough! Good location walking distance to the lake, military museum and the prison,...

We stayed just one night but arrived at 5am the preceding morning. Even though we woke them up they were still helpful and even managed to smile. Every time we asked for something they did everything they could and more to help. The room was a good size, clean with a great bathroom and shower. All in all a great...

Great one-night stay in the middle of Hanoi, the owner is lovely. Nice breakfast (choice of cereal & fruit or eggs with baguette etc.), good rooms. Our TV wasn't working when we first got in but there was someone up to fix it just after we rang. Bathroom was decent (which is always hard to pick in Vietnam budget hotels!)....

We had a room facing the main street but were not bothered by any street noise. We arrived at 4.30am after a tedious train trip from Sapa. Everything looked shut up and we wondered what we would do for the next few hours or so, when someone appeared at the front door and let us in. We were then taken...

I stayed here for 2 nights. My room on the 3rd floor was very very quiet and clean. The gentleman & lady at front desk were both very friendly, talkative and helpful. A satisfactory breakfast is included in the price, I only paid $30AU per night. The hotel position is very good, very central and close to the lake making...

We started our honeymoon in Hanoi to discover the city. Our friend advised us about a small Hotel not so close but not so far of the center of the town. It was a good choice. Our room was very quiet and clean wit reasonable price. We appreciate the kindness of the employees. It is very easy to have good...

Spent here one night before and one after Halong Bay cruise. The first room had a persistent stench of cigarette smoke and the other wasn't very much better. Other than that, the lobby lady is lovely and helpful - one of the friendliest people we met in Vietnam! They also managed to get us breakfast very, very early in the...
