The hostel is cheap, obviously, but actually most of the hostels in Hanoi also charge $5 for a night. First the positives: the staff member, especially the girl on desk was really friendly. The bed was comfy and I did sleep well. Now the negatives: dirty... Really really grubby. Particularly, as someone else pointed out, the bathroom. The bathroom is... More

I'm really confused at the rating this hostel has on TripAdvisor... In my opinion it does not deserve even a 3/5 which I would see as average. The hostel is first and foremost dirty. The bedsheets are stained and the walls have likely not been wiped since 2014. The lockers are flimsy at best. Worst of all are the bathrooms... More

They are fully aware of what backpackers require and suggest and work to meet their requirements. Ms. Kelly is extremely approachable and help.... More

It is located in the city centre, but still gets quite silent at night, so you can relax. The staff, Kate and Lin are the ones who... More

Comfy bed, balcony city view, nice bar downstairs with Happy Hour from 5 pm to 10 pm. A real home from home. Good location 3 min walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and restaurants, bars nearby. The hostel offers rooms at good pricing. I had booked the private room during my short trip as my rest point between my travels to other locations. Staff were friendly and were quick to attend to your questions. The management's responsiveness and prompt service is something I recall greatly. If you are travelling alone, the hostel is also a great... More
