Not sure if this place is still there as I looked for it. Visited is 2012 and could find in in 2016. The manager is shifty. Had a few tattoos, one on his hand- just so you don't mistake him from someone else. I'm tattooed myself so I hold no judgement for looks only for actions. My mates room was...

what i liked about this place is location. the hotel is few metres away from a 49-floor Bitexco tower. the look and design is very appealing for a 3* hotel. my room was a 3rd floor deluxe one, clean and nice, with a rose painting on a wall, a cabinet with wine and glasses, and a sofa. breakfast was ok,...

I don't believe this is the place I stayed in, unless of course the place has changed of owner. Somebody said they paid 7.50 usd for the room, that was not the kind of price I paid, it was more like 20 usd and I had a discount price. Also the place was full and they didn't need to pay...

This hotel is a scam! We were picked up from the airport, which is where the scam began. The taxi took us to our hotel where we were told the hotel was full due to weather conditions at Halong bay and other guests had been given out room. We ended up at the owners 'second hotel'... He gave us the...

As previously mentioned by another reviewer, I was taken to this hotel by a scamming airport taxi driver. The owner of the woeful Aulac hotel told me my hostel had overbooked and tried to shuffle me into this dire establishment. The room was grotty and horrendously loud due to poor building design. Fortunately I was able to connect to the...

I had a similar terrible experience as the cab directed me to this hotel after telling me the hotel I originally booked was full. The bathroom was disgusting and the room was incredibly noisy. I also paid for a hotel with breakfast and I was given a meager 3 pieces of toast after requesting breakfast. I also tried booking my...

The manager of this hotel SCAMMED me in the classic Hanoi hotel switch scam. Other reviewers have described the scam-- you ask a cab driver to take you to your hotel, only to be told by this conniving, lying jerk that it is full. He gets in the cab and directs you to the miserable Aulac. I realized pretty quickly...

We booked a 2 pax room because there werent options for 3 pax for this hotel while we were booking. We were admitted and not informed about the additional charge. Stayed there for 3 nights and only on the 4th day while we were checking out that they mentioned USD5 per night for additional person. We refused to pay for...

We were taken here thanks to one of the legendary Hanoi scams. Our taxi driver called a guy who pretended to be from our actual hotel then he took us here. The hotel was so noisy on a really busy street. The rooms were dated and the bathroom dirty. When we checked out, the staff came across a bit untrustworthy...
