The hotel is very good. It is located in the old city where in western eyes can look like hell.. Motorbikes.. Cars.. Hundreds of people.. No side walk..you have to walk on the road together with hundreds of motorbikes.. Cyclo..people..just terrible.. You always try not to get run over by a car or motorbike.. There are many shops in the...

Very nice hotel in a very good location at the old city of Hanoi. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy, with good air condition and TV. Breakfast is basic but good. Staff very friendly and helpful, which is very important in Vietnam. I can sure recommend.

The reception staff were pleasant and the amenities good. Breakfast was included in our room tariff and was a good mix of western and eastern options. WiFi was spasmodic in reception and often unavailable but again included in our tariff so no real complaints. Evening meals not cooked on site.

Stayed two nights either side of our Sapa & Halong Bay visits. Upon arrival and handing over our passports for check in, the lady on the front desk noticed it was husbands birthday. Within 10 minutes we had a birthday cake delivered to our room. Now thats above & beyond. Rooms & bed comfortable. Shower pressure not the best but...

This hotel is superbly situated for the old quarter of Hanoi, yet was remarkably quiet for such a busy area. The rooms we stayed in were clean, we'll stocked and very comfortable, secure and with both windows and good air con. Wifi was temperamental but that's been pretty standard for us in Vietnam! Breakfast was good. All in good value...

My husband and I loved this friendly and comfortable hotel right in the middle of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The staff were very helpful and the rooms we had were both comfy and well appointed. The location was fantastic and even though as some have said it is not new, it doesn't need to be. I feel friendly helpful...

Stayed for 2 nights. Room is average size. We had a third bed that was hard as rocks but still managed a good sleep. Window faced into atrium which is okay since I am only in it to sleep. Breakfast was the usual made to order eggs and noodle soup. Bacon and wieners, along with various oriental dishes to choose...

The hotel location is excellent and rooms are large. But its a bit worn out and there's a dull and old feel to it. Room smell of tobacco for instance. I've stayed in various hotels in Hanoi and there's a number of better ones.
