The guesthouse is really nice, simple but with everything you need: clean and spacious room, air conditioned, breakfast included and just near the lake, the ancient Hanoi and many place for eat. we stayed 5 days and i really reccomend it, also because the persons that work here are really kind (we booked with them the halong bay cruise and... We stayed here for five nights and we have nothing but praise for the staff - particularly Jasmine and her colleague (sorry the name has escaped me but she has a beautiful baby daughter). They helped us with all our questions and our tour to Halong Bay was one of the highlights of our trip. We were worried that we... More

This was our second time staying at Madame Moon, this time with my mum and auntie in tow. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, lovely rooms (comfy bed) and a great location, near the lake. We really liked the little street the hotel is on, always recommend to friends to stay here. The stairs to the room are a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Wanted 3 but it was fully booked. Amazingly sweet and helpful staff. Just a really nice atmosphere here. We were recommend this place by an older Kiwi lady, and took her words, and went for it- and certainly did not regret it.

The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. From carrying your luggage up and down six flights of stairs to booking your train tickets for you, nothing is too much to ask. We booked a tour with the hotel and after asking others on the boat, we got it cheaper than anyone else. The... More

Madam Moon is a great place to stay with very friendly staff and a great all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast. Binh and Hien, the two main receptionists are exceptionally supportive in helping with any travel arrangements that you need to organise. They have made my whole trip a lot easier to coordinate, which I think is a big plus. And they are... More

I can't speak more highly of the service and care the staff at Madam Moon's provided. We were recommended to stay at Madam Moon's and all our communication with Binh the manager prior to our stay, was prompt, informative and most helpful. Binh organised our transfers, accommodation, Halong Bay cruise, overnight train to and from Sapa, Sapa accommodation, Sapa treks,... More

We had booked two nights in a Superior Double at Madam Moon Guesthouse, and we ended up staying in the standard triple rooms in MM Guesthouse 2 due to someone requesting a late check out. We ended up liking that location because it's set back off the street and was very quiet for being adjacent to such a busy area.... More

I stayed for just a night because my other hotel was disappointing, so I figured I'd pay 5 more USD to get something better. I wasn't wrong and wished I had stayed there since the beginning. Great laundry service, good breakfast, great rooms very quiet and clean. It was definitely my best hotel experience in Hanoi (although the most expensive... More

Good value for money. There is no elevator and stairs can be a bit steep for some people. They will carry ypur luggage up and downbthe stairs. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean with working hot water. I personally found the street a bit noisy at night but it is actually one of the quiter streets in busy... More
