Couldn't be more friendly. Hotel room nice; clean spacious and good shower. Located on a busy street that gets you straight into the life of Hanoi. Quiet and calm on the inside of the hotel. They offered me different options for seeing things around Hanoi.

On the outside, this hotel is charming, as well as the check-in area, but the building smells TOOO DAMP. I know it's very humid and hot in Hanoi, Vietnam, but you can visibly see water stains on the paper in the elevator. The rooms are very dated and the bed is hard, although surprisingly, I slept rather comfortably. If your...

Room perfectly ok with Windows and recently redecorated, however a very small lift serving a lot of floors and a crowded and gloomy reception area. The breakfast was indifferent but staff extremely helpful.

Rooms were small but nice, beds comfortable, and the breakfast good. The Internet was decent but only available in the hotel lobby, and the staff were nice and polite. The bathrooms in the rooms were particularly nice. The hotel was able to keep our luggage safe whilst we spent a night in Halong Bay, which was very helpful.

Very clean hotel, with good bathroom facilities. THe safe provided was in the wardrobe and whilst we would have expected it to be bolted down, after 2 weeks in Vietnam, we realised that it was the norm. Breakfast basic provided. Convenient place to stay and explore central Hanoi and Old Quarter. Very friendly helpful staff.

A pleasant small hotel with nicely decorated rooms, in a good location a short walk of 10minutes or so from the centre of town in a lively location busy with locals but away from the tourist areas (even as an obvious westerner you can walk the surrounding streets without generating a second glance). Small well-stocked bar. Friendly staff. Pleasant reception...

1. When things are broken they don't replace them or fix them (i.e. scales, tv, computer, hair dryer) 2. Internet is frequently out of order, and if you request to use the computer in your room it is $5 USD a day 3. Their extra charges are well above average from my experience in Vietnam so far (80000 VND per...
