Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a very pleasant stay in Hanoi Allure Hotel. Despite being located in Old Quarter it stands out as being very cozy and peaceful place with spacious, clean rooms. Many thanks to the staff, especially receptionist Wendy, who helped us on many occasions. They provided nice list of food recommendations, assisted with taxi and more.

When I checked in, I was greeted by one of the friendliest staff I've ever met. She was polite, kind and accommodating. She helped recommend places to go in Hanoi and where to eat. The room was clean and well equipped, and the beds were very comfy. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was welcomed by one of the most hospitable and courteous staff members I have ever encountered. She was polite and accommodating and even offered me some helpful suggestions on the best places to visit and dine in Hanoi. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring that I got a good night's sleep. The hotel itself was within walking distance from many of the attractions in Hanoi's Old Quarter. What made my stay memorable was when the staff discovered it was my birthday and surprised me with a delightful birthday platter. They even serenaded me with a birthday song, which was truly an unforgettable experience. The level of service at this hotel was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Hanoi.

Highly reccomend! This hotel is in a great spot within Hanoi Old Quarters and they provided us a paper guide with reccomended restaurants, cafes, and activities. Every restaurant we ate at from the list was the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had, and I’m Vietnamese American. We felt so welcomed by the staff - the doormen and the receptionists. They were so sweet and helpful and would offer us delicious tea while we waited in the lobby. They also helped guide us through our trip by offering personal reccomendations. Our room and bathroom was huge with a gorgeous balcony overseeing the old quarters. We were able to adjust the air conditioning to our liking to keep our room cold. It was a wonderful stay that we would highly reccomend to all our friends and family.

A quiet cool oasis in the old quarter. We booked 2 rooms , both were great . Very comfortable beds and pillows with nice linen . Aircon worked great as did the shower . The place was beautifully clean and the staff were so so lovely. We had such a lovely welcome on arrival and as it's a small hotel we felt like friends. My husband had left some belongings on his international flight and they arranged how to collect - no problem at all . Breakfast was fine - the a la carte options better than buffet at no extra-charge. Despite being in the thick of the old quarter there was very little street noise . We would stay here again .

I can not praise this hotel enough. I have traveled to over 20 different countries and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the reception staff a pure delight to see everyday. Full of enthusiasm and wanting to assist you in anyway. The location is awesome, close enough to beer street but far enough away to escape the noise. The rooms are spacious and immaturely presented and spotless. The bathroom is modern and spotless too. The breakfast is buffet style and hot. Rare in any hotel. You can request omelette and the days speciality too. This is an amazing place to stay and if I was returning to Hanoi. Will stay here. I urge all that read this to do the same. It will make everyday special for you.

We had a short trip and choose Allure for its quaint look yet spacious rooms. Super happy with the amazing clean, spacious and well equipped room and service by all the staff. The location of this hotel is really strategic and you can walk everywhere. Highlights: very near night Market, very near beer street, the rooms are well sound proof, you don't hear a sound at night. Breakfast gives you good options without too much flair. Breads, pastries, cereals, egg station, local noodle specialities, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot food, coffee, tea and fruit juice.

We were so pampered here in this hotel, which is situated in the heart of the Old Quarter. We were made to feel so welcome by the reception staff, who spoke excellent English and were so helpful throughout our stay, making helpful suggestions for places to eat, sightseeing trips, maps and directions. They were so quick to respond to anything we asked. They provided ice for us, there was a station to refill our containers with filtered water, staff were at the front door to open it for us on arrival and departure, always with a smile and a joke. Breakfast was included and it was so perfect. It provided a wide range of dishes, to please people from many different parts of the globe. The best thing I liked (apart from the wonderful staff) was that the breakfast menu changed daily so there was always something new to try. My poached eggs were cooked perfectly. I was made to feel so welcome. Our room was generously proportioned with a very comfortable king sized bed, fridge and our own tiny balcony. The shower was hot and the water plentiful. There was a safe in our room, which was very easy to use. There were numerous powerpoints to charge all of our gadgets and toys. I can highly recommend this place.

Clean, relatively large room and bathroom. Big buffet breakfast (with a la carte eggs etc). Located right in the guts of the old quarter, about a minute walk from beer street (if that's your thing). Above all, the service is excellent. The desk staff all speak fluent English, and give friendly assistance with bookings, maps and helpful suggestions. Without their help, the old quarter would been overwhelming.
