We based our Vietnam holiday here as we travelled in and out of Hanoi on route to Sapa, Halong Bay and Hoi An. The location is ideal for exploring the old town, almost in the courtyard of St Joseph's cathedral (free ear plugs are provided but the bells did not disturb us at all) and with enough eating, coffee and...

I stayed at Cinnamon Hotel for a few days this summer and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was perfect, right next to the cathedral and a short walk from the lake. Also there are many places to eat around the hotel. What I loved the most was that the staff at Cinnamon Hotel were extremely nice and helpful. They...

I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is in a lovely location opposie the cathedral and I did not find noise any problem. It is a great place to explore old Hano from. The breakfast was also very good. On the downside, I felt that the air conditioning was not powerful enough in the rooms. The other thing that...

This little hotel is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and run a very successful hotel which was a pleasure to stay at. It has all the facilities of a high end large hotel and more. The food was great as well as the beds being extremely comfy and the whole...

Cinnamon Hotel were very good at accommodating us with our early and late travel times. They gave us our room very early in the morning and let us have the breakfast on that morning even though it was really owed for the next morning when we would not be there. They were so helpful with everything. For the price we...

This place is great, it's quiet, the breakfast is good, the staff is VERY nice, etc. They helped us to book a cruse in Halong Bay, they coached us on Vietnamese pronounciation, ... You can find cheaper place for similar location, but overall, it's a good choice. Also, it's well located in the city.

Spent a total of 7 days at this hotel and the newly opened Cinnamon Hotel. The location and rooms were very comfortable. being across the way from one of Hanoi's older churches was nice as there was plenty of activities to watch when schools finishes with everyone picking up children. Pure bedlam but fun to watch! The newer hotel has...

We stayed here for a night in April 2015. The hotel is ok, cleanish, in a lovely area but below average for the price. We had booked a cathedral view and when we arrived they said this wasn't available so we got a city view which wasn't very nice. We also weren't offered anything for the extra we had paid...

I enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Cinnamon, but I think it's somewhat overpriced. The staff here are exceptional - can't do enough to help. Breakfast is very nice, but be sure to only order Vietnamese coffee. I say overpriced because my room was so dark, and also because the bathroom is of the wet style (no shower enclosure)....

Loved the location of this hotel - close enough to the action without being too close. The rooms were gorgeous and the staff could not do enough to help us. They even housed a suitcase of ours for two weeks! Very personalised attention and help with whatever we needed booked or arranged for our stay!
