super friendly & useful owner. got lots of tips and help on my 1st days in Vietnam, really appreciated. clean decent room in great central location. simple but sufficient room which was rather quiet (top floor) for a competitive price (15 euros per night for one person)

If you are on a budget there is no better place. I stay here on every trip to Vietnam. The hotel is very basic with a basic breakfast. Where it shines is because of Phoung and her family. I know of no harder working people. They will do anything possible to make your trip a pleasant one. They can book...

Although they had double booked our reservation they were able to insure we had a room in their camellia 4 hotel. The gentleman from the hotel walked with us to make sure we found it ok. The lady also gave us a free breakfast to compensate; we were happy with this solution. The room was clean a spacious with a...

Stayed here for a few days, the location was great, the room was cheap and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. My only problems were with the bathrooms. The toilet had about 6cm (2") between the wall and the front, which made it rather difficult for #2 and for women. The shower was cold normally even though each room...

Clean and basic hotel. Lovely family running the hotel who were extremely accomodating. Only downside was a rooster next door that keeps you up for a couple hours every morning. They changed our money over from usd to vnd for free, and gave us advice on where to eat, how much to pay for taxis etc. Very honest and lovely...

When I first arrived I was impressed at the nice look of the room for the price I paid, comfy beds, TV, fridge, hot water, balcony, staff were friendly Only grumble was the noise coming from the bathroom, it was the pipes I'm assuming, it was a short, random high pitched noise that happened throughout the day and night Other...

The best thing about this hotel was the location, which is central to everything in the old town but down a small alleyway so the traffic is no problem. We paid $26 AUD for a double room with balcony. The room was very spacious and clean, and even had a shower over the bathtub (instead of going onto the floor)....

This place is nothing fancy, but it's clean, it's in a great location in the heart of old town, and the staff are wonderful. It's run by the sweetest family. They were so helpful and kind, and when my cousin got sick and ended up bed-ridden for several days, they checked to see how she was doing every time I...

My experience at Camellia Hotel was very good. Room was clean with good price and the service they provide for tours and anything you have some trouble with was excellent. I booked open bus ticket from Camellia Hotel 6 with lots of help (she told me many places to go around Vietnam). Although I was in other city, she always...

This was my second trip to Vietnam. I stayed here one year ago during a trip with approximately 6 friends. Yes, there are certainly places in Hanoi with more amenities such as indoor/ rooftop pools, steam rooms, saunas and gyms if that is what you desire but this is my first choice for staying in Hanoi. The hotel is operated...
