Great hotel with lovely cozy and spacious rooms, big bathrooms and great attention to detail. Complementary water, snacks and fresh fruits were replenished daily in our room. Despite a great and very central location, no noise from the street could be heard in our room. Pick up and drop off service at the airport were easily arranged. The service at the front desk was always friendly and very helpful in providing assistance when we had to ask for a specialised clinic. The breakfast selection and size of the breakfast area could be improved, but overall there was a nice selection of western style breakfast options available a la carte and at the buffet. Our flight home left quite late in the evening, so we could leave our luggage at the hotel for the day. Additionally, we could use a free room to take a shower and change clothes before leaving for the airport, which really was a great experience. I would definitely stay here again when in Hanoi and can highly recommend the hotel!

These types of hotels are the very reason to avoid the soulless international franchises that abound in all cities. There was a sense of authenticity to the O'Gallery Premier, in terms of the ambience, decor, appearance and layout - it didn't feel conformist.
Our room with balcony at the rear of property was spacious, clean and relaxing, with more than adequate aircon and bathroom facilities. The location was nigh on perfect, about a 10 min walk to the heart of the Old Quarter and a 5 min walk to the French Quarter. Breakfast was diverse and hearty (great smoothies), and staffing was always friendly and helpful without being obsequious.
Perhaps for us the biggest surprise was recognition of my partner's birthday. We hadn't flagged this fact (it may have slipped out when we were booking a cruise) but we returned to our room one evening to find the bed strewn with rose petals with a bottle of wine and chocolate cake on the coffee table. The next morning, possibly to my partner's embarrassment, the breakfast staff sang happy birthday (a few guests joined in) and another small cake provided. This even continued on the first night of our cruise with the same company to Lan Na Bay (adjoining Ha Long Bay).
Staying at the O'Gallery Premier was a delightful and uplifting experience, bringing charm and soul to the hotel part of visiting Hanoi.
Very highly recommended.

The location is ideal with walking distance to nice restaurants and the lake. The staffs are super friendly and helped us a lot in finding transportation and contacting tour guides and even the embassy. The hotel provides masks, sterilizing liquid and brown sugar drinks to keep guests warm and in good hygiene. The breakfast is also tasty with variety.
The only shortage is that not every room is with windows, so we have to rely on the air-conditioner to keep the air fresh.
But overall, we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

Great location for a great hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. Short walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake, the Church, and a host of other things to be seen. You can easily hail a cab or call a Grab here. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside the lobby doors. You're right in the center of the action. Was pleasantly surprised how well kept the hotel is. Rooms were very clean, modern and nice. We'd inquired ahead about a baby cot and another one for a 9 year old, both cots were set up in both rooms with nothing to worry about. Staff was always helpful and available. They even offered to hold and transfer our luggage to our next hotel during our one night Ha Long cruise. Very proactive and professional all around, have to give special thanks to Mr. Chris Lee for a job well done. He stayed in touch with us before, during, and at the conclusion of our visit and helped ensure we were taken care of. That's also to say all staff were great there. Restaurant and breakfast spread were perfect for the trip too. All around great stay, hoping to stay here again on the next visit.

The four of us arrived at the O'Gallery Premier Hotel in taxi from HAN airport, where we had just flown in from Luang Prabang, Laos. We had been treated very well in Luang Prabang, but the welcome to Vietnam that we received at the O'Gallery Premier Hotel was unbelievable! Besides the usual welcome amenities (drink, cold face cloth) we were given a very warm and sincere welcome orientation, by, I believe her name was Stella. For our four night stay there, we received unbelievable care and attention from Stella and the other staff. The hotel itself was great, and the location excellent, within walking distance of all that we wanted. We checked out after four nights to do an overnight cruise on Halong Bay, thinking that after the cruise we would just get the Rosy Cruise shuttle driver to drop us at the train station where we would catch the train to Hue, after about a 4 hour wait at the station, but Stella suggested we get him to drop us off back at the hotel, where she would store our luggage and have a room for each couple to spend a couple of hours in, to shower and get cleaned up to catch the train! No charge! Amazing!

We were really happy with our stay here, the receptionist Daisy (I believe!) was absolutely exceptional. She greeted us after a long flight with hot tea and a beautifully decorated room for our anniversary. She also made the effort to learn our entire itinerary and offered to arrange to shuttle our luggage to a sister hotel we were staying after our Halong bay cruise so we wouldn't have to worry about it.
This hotel was a great value and we were very pleased with the breakfast buffet that also included ala carte items to order! The manager even made it a point to come by and wish us well on our cruise and trip to Sapa.
This hotel is in old quarter but a little bit of a short walk to the more "popular" area by the water, but we didn't mind as we found some great local eats nearby (recommend Ky Dong!).

Only things we would recommend is better AC in the hallways. We also stayed in the royal suite which had an expansive terrace, but only one simple small table and 2 chairs. It seemed like a missed opportunity to not have more furniture (perhaps hanging egg chairs, or an outdoor couch to lounge on and enjoy more).

All in all super happy with our stay and would recommend for anyone looking for a clean, lovely hotel with A+ service.

Our stay at O’Gallery was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful - well designed room, very comfortable bed, excellent shower etc. My husband had to get some work done on one of the days and the comfortable desk and chair were perfect for that. I took the opportunity to visit their spa and enjoyed an absolutely fabulous massage and facial combination treatment. Breakfast was great and the location was perfect for Hanoi old quarter sight seeing. We went on a stunning tour to Ninh Binh organised by the hotel. An action packed day that took in all the natural and cultural world heritage sites, organised for a small group and transported in a super luxury vehicle with wifi on board etc. But the best part were the staff. It was my husband’s birthday while we were there. I hadn’t mentioned it to anyone, they must have noticed when they took copies of our passports at check in. So it was such a lovely surprise on birthday morning when staff came out of the kitchen with birthday pancakes with candles and led a round of the birthday song! Then later when we came back to our room in the evening the words ‘happy birthday’ had been spelled out in rose petals on the bed, then two staff members came to the door with a mini chocolate cake and a bottle of wine for us to celebrate! It was above and beyond service at every step. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough.

We stayed at the O'Gallery Premier a week, all-told, and can recommend it without qualification. The rooms are large and well-appointed, the staff is helpful, friendly and courteous, the restaurant and breakfast were among the best in our 2 months in SE Asia, and the location puts you in reasonable walking distance of nearly anything you'd want to see in Hanoi. We'd definitely return.

I am here for business trip and picked this hotel in Old Quarter. The location is not on a busy main street so the traffic was not too heavy. Some rooms facing the road might hear the morning motorbikes horns. I had 701 room on 7th Floor facing the road but didn't have a problem with noise. Every staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast from 6am to 10am was very decent with many choices. The hot dishes do change every morning. There are cereals, milk, coffee/tea, salads, pancakes, breads and different types of cooked dishes at breakfast. At only 100,000 VND per pax, i think it is a good deal. The bed was comfortable. The room is a bit dark due to the dark furniture but the room did have table lamp and floor lamp which helped. My business partner on Room 601 (with the big open terrace) could hear my footsteps from 7th Floor.
About the spa, it was at another sister hotel Oriental Jade which is 20,000 VND taxi or 8min walk from O'Gallery. The masseuse was skillful and the massage left me feeling very refreshed. O'gallery arranged a 1 way taxi to Oriental Jade with a 20% discount for hotel guest. Airport Transfer is 450,000 VND 1 way from hotel to airport.
I give a 5* to O'Gallery because I have an evening flight. I checked out at 10am. The staff allowed me to shower (in a new room 306) after my massage, before my flight when I went back to pick up my luggage. Thumbs Up!

This hotel chain truly knows how to make guests feel like we're in the lap of luxury. The O'Gallery hotel smelled great in the lobby and I was immediately greeted by staff. They serve you tea while checking you into your room, and accompany you there. They are very attentive and helpful in every way.

The breakfast was really delicious, the rooms super clean, the spa very good too. I highly recommend this place, as it was just around the corner from lots of attractions in Hanoi. I was very happy with my stay.

Yes you need to bring an universal adapter. I has stayed in room 701 facing the main road and it was not as noisy as I thought. Maybe it's because room 601 has an open terrace that help to block the noise. If you really don't want any noise, try room 508, 608 or 708 etc. It's at the back of the building.

You can arrange airport pick up by contacting hotel direct as soon as you book. A link should be provided to contact hotel in the email confirmation. There are discounts for food for hotel guests, not sure about spa.
