We checked in on 29th January for 7 nights. We requested twin beds as there were 2 guys. When checking in they put us in a queen bed room. We went to reception to request the twin beds that we'd asked for, only for them to tell us they only have queen beds in the rooms and they were fully booked up, so we couldn't get a second room. We ended up having to pay 5,600 baht for them to put an extra bed in the room which instantly taken up alot of space in the room. I dont feel like we should of been charged any money to have them put another bed in the room but other than the sleeping arrangements, great hotel. Would of rated higher if we instantly didn't have to use a huge amount of are spending money on a bed to be put in a room we'd already paid for.

I have stayed here a few times now, most recently a 3 week stay.

The rooms range from large to very large, are quiet and the beds very comfortable. A well maintained guest friendly hotel with a nice small swimming pool which gets the sun most of the day - parasol's available for shade.

Friendly helpful staff, efficient house keeping, will definitely stay again.

I spent 30 nights in a deluxe room in LK Residence. The location is great, Easy walking to Central Pattaya shopping and night life area. The hotel is right off the baht bus route so that is very convenient as well. The rooms are a little dated but everything functioned and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are large though with plenty of storage for your belonging.. the hotel staff were charming and always smiling.Cleaning staff were great. They always worked around my schedule and proved whatever I needed.

Don't get me wrong this is a nice hotel and everything but there was a power shortage last night due to outside problem. It is not the power shortage that's the problem but my room was on the sixth floor when that happens and I went outside my room to try to find the fire escape stairs. Not a single emergence exit sign was visible. I was in total darkness. Other guest found the same on different floors. I don't know about you but in my country they will not allow the hotel to operate under this condition. There is not one single emergency or fire exit sign at this hotel. Take note this is a fire trap that one would hear about when traveling overseas. Hence my overall rating not to be confused with the quality that the staff and rooms are at the moment.

My stay here was a recent one during the final 12 days of April and I would describe it as well below my expectations for reasons I shall cover shortly but on the plus side location is brilliant for night life, the front desk staff were charming and helpful and housekeeping serviced my room perfectly every day...also absolutely loads of cupboard, drawer space microwave, kettle with a very comfortable bed and quality linen.
Now the cons....I booked through Agoda and pre paid which was a big mistake otherwise I would probably have checked out. My booking was for a fairly pricey superior room where I expected to have at the very least a walk in shower, not so....I had to make do with very carefully clambering in and out of a rather high sided single whirl pool (not Jacuzzi) bath tub. I later learnt that to have a separate tub and shower I should have booked an even more expensive Superior room. My initial room on the 6th floor did not have a working wifi signal, I was moved up a floor where the signal was now ok but the trade off was no hot water for the shower during my entire stay, to their credit they did try to sort it but alas no luck.....due to the extreme temperatures in Pattaya (hottest for 27 years) it was not a massive issue and I did adjust to living with it. The television signal was hopeless, when I complained about this the staff informed me it was a problem throughout the hotel.
Breakfast was a cheap affair with those hot dog type sausages so on the occasions I made it, a couple of poached eggs was my request while the waitress pointed me in the direction of the toaster.
So all in all, I was disappointed but it did not interfer with my hedonistic adventure in Pattaya with late nights and various beautiful companions.
shall I stay there again....no because quite close by there are better more serviceable places at a lower cost.

After a lengthy absence, I felt it was about time I gave the LK Renaissance another try because from my point of view, location is as good as it gets.

Not fond of showering in a high sided bath tub, this time I was careful to book a deluxe room which consists of a separate walk in shower. Facilities in the very spacious room and comfort level were very satisfactory, no complaints there, except for the television where the choice of English language television channels were very modest.

What did come as a disturbing surprise was; early one morning when returning to my room, there were two other occupants inside making themselves comfortable, indeed the lady had taken the liberty of checking the contents of my suitcase and unboxed various expensive items I'd purchased duty free. After checking I was in the correct room, security were called.
It was then established that after returning to the hotel minus his key card, the front desk staff committed the gigantic faux pas of letting these two strangers into my room as opposed to the correct room, one floor immediately above.
Happily the situation was resolved without any major catastrophe occurring or property stolen, but it just goes to show what can happen and who needs cat burglars when hotel staff allow these things to happen.
Disappointingly, no offer to rectify the situation or offer of compensation was forthcoming.

I would strongly suggest that you stay away from this hotel for the next three years as there is a huge multi-story construction site to the rear of hotel in which the noise starts at around 7.00am and continues on until 10.00pm at night. Arriving at the hotel at around 4.00pm after 18-20 hours in transit all I wanted was a quiet room for a sleep, impossible, the noise from the construction site is horrendous with jackhammers, trucks hooting, and general banging around etc 7 days a week. With approx 75% of the hotel rooms facing on to the construction site, all will suffer from noise pollution. The hotels front rooms face on to the street with the gogo bars across the street with loud music blasting out from early evening to early morning. Good luck in trying to a quiet room at this hotel. My room was just adequate and clean, but hot water was non-existent and at its best was slightly warm after running the hot tap for more than 10-15mins, the comment from the front desk was just let run it will get hotter, yea right. Hotel has no bar and the restaurant closes at around 3.00pm, so no evening dining. Hotel is in a good location with a short 5-7min walk to the beach. Staff pleasant, breakfast is on a menu basis and not very good. Overall I would rate it three out of ten. Wifi free when working. Hotel needs a complete upgrade.

I stayed here in May. I originally booked for two nights stay and after I saw the room I was not happy with room. Front desk told me pay for upgrade and you get better room so I did upgrade but still the room was old and smelly. The shower was dirty and water pressure not very good. I really wanted to change my hotel but front desk would not cooperate with me so I only forced to stay one night.
The rooms are very old and worn. Rooms not clean and smelly. Poor Front desk customer service and rude. Not willing to help me at all.
Horrible breakfast.

They will organise sightseeing tours for you, however they will most likely add a premium onto the price for doing so. There are many places, little kiosks, around central Pattaya that offer what you're looking for and will be better value. Just take the time to have a look around.

No, but you can order food that is delivered from LK Empress. Once I was offered a free breakfast in LK Metropole because of a problem in my room in LK Residence, so I guess you can order breakfast in LK Metropole which is located just 200m up the street.
