Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

very negative I had already been there but the quality has dropped I definitely do not recommend never again in this hotel very negative the staff at the reception were rude rude and all the time they charge for things I didn't take I had already been here last year and the same thing happened be careful they find every possible excuse not to return the deposit and even in an unkind way. negative breakfast there is no hot milk or chocolate mainly Thai food in a hotel where mostly foreign tourists stay. instead a voucher to the staff on the clean room floors and to the night watchmen who are always very helpful

3 star hotel. I have stayed in 4+5 star hotels in Udon Thani and Nakhon Ratchasima, and of course, they are a higher spec. But Flipper House at 3 star I found to be very good. Room was very clean, sufficiently spacious, fridge, good air conditioning and when I needed the room made up in the morning, giving the cleaner a little tip means after breakfast it’s all done. Only odd thing is kettle provided, but no mugs, or tea or coffee…but I, being picky maybe. Breakfast more than sufficient for 3 star and had breakfasts at different time and no queuing, so good turn arounds. Staff at reception helpful, informative and kind. Hotel is very short walk to beach and to mall. So no complaints. I’m fact, good enough for me to book again for May.

Although the hotel isn't very modern it's in excellent condition having been refurbished in the last few years. The rooms are spacious and benefit from wooden floors which are non-slip compared with the very slippery tiles I'm many hotels. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

A good value 3 star hotel located in the middle of the “nightlife” district. My superior room was simple but spacious and clean. It had a good bathroom, tea/coffee, a fridge, free daily water, and a safe. Downsides were that the mattress was too hard for me and the air conditioning was very noisy. No view or balcony. The housekeeping girl was effective but quite aggressive; no “land of smiles”there! All in all, a good choice for adults only. Recommended

Tha staff at the hotel is very un friendly and very arrogant .. we just asked to give us rooms on the same floor, and they said “ you cannot order, whatever we give u have to take” … And believe me we said it in a very respectful and requesting manner .. Also the hotel has a very empty and hollow kind of feeling … The rooms apparently may look good but the feeling is hollow …. The swimming pool the size of a small pond … just there for the sake of it … Lets see how things progress from here .. will update if required later ..

Very good location combined with a great spacious room. However, a very important factor is that ALL the staff from chambermaids, receptionists and Hall porters were very friendly and efficient. The roof top swimming pools were excellent.

The hotel was renovated just prior to the Covid crisis so it is ready and waiting for your return. Spotlessly clean room with decent TV, deep bath with hot water, tea and coffee making in the room. Bed too hard but smooth linens. Two decent pools on the roof which have shallow areas for toddlers and non-swimmers. The hotel was virtually empty so it was disappointing that the lady on the desk did not allow us to stay beyond 1pm as our room was definitely not required later. Apart from this, no issues and would definitely stay again.

This was the first time I stayed at the Flipper. Heard good reports from friends so had to give it a go. Wasn't disappointed at all, I paid a little extra for a better room than the first I was shown, no big issue here. Very happy with my second room where I stayed for 10 days. Great pools with views of Pattaya that also get the sun all day. Bars and eating places very close by. Best thing for me was the late finnshing time for breakfast. You could get up at your leisure after a night drinking them make your way down. Although I wouldn't say it's the best breakfast I've ever had it was by no means the worst. Basically a decent buffet breakfast to fill yourself up on on a morning. A very very good choice of hotel in Pattaya, couldn't fault the place
