The Amethyst Hotel is a fairly new top-notch hotel located just off Soi Buakhao in Pattaya Thailand.
The hotel has first class amenities and staff. The location is close to Soi Buakhao, but far enough away from the noise to be relatively quiet and comfortable at night to sleep.
The gym, restaurant, coffee shop, bar and pool areas are very well designed, staffed and maintained.
The rooms are very well designed and furnished with high quality fixtures and furnishings.
The Amethyst Hotel’s friendly staff really shine and complement this outstanding facility providing excellent customer service.
I am unable to name all the exceptional staff members who assisted me during my stay Christmas week in 2024.
Kevin & Akie are the two staff members names I do recall.
Customer service can make a huge difference in your hotel experience and during my stay the staff at Amethyst completely excelled at delivering great service and hospitality.

Never before has our golf group encountered such a friendly atmosphere in a modern hotel in Thailand. After being greeted by Lookplas (Manager) beaming, welcoming smile, our 16 night stay just got better and better. Lookpla and her team catered for our every requirement. They remained friendly, helpful and most courteous at all times. Our rooms were excessively comfortable, the dining room was spotless and well-stocked, and the rooftop pool and adjacent bar proved to be an excellent gathering venue. All told, Lookpla, Harry, Kevin, Bee, Benz, Jason, Neisa, Benny, Bow, et al, are deserved of any awards or accolades which may happen their way.

This was my second stay, both times the experience was perfect! Located in a quiet part of South Pattaya, (yes there are quiet areas), the location and accessibility to everything is very easy and convenient. The staff is very professional, friendly and very accommodating. Specific mentions to my housekeeper Fon, the front desk staff Lookpla, Peter, Harry and Kaila, coffee bar Alice and Bow, and the the Concierges Ake and Tono. The hotel is fairly new, very comfortable and beautifully designed. The restaurant menu is priced very competitive with restaurants in the area, has a very good selection, and the food is delicious!.. highly recommended!

This is my first time in this hotel, and I was very impressed, both by the hotel itself and by the good service. The only problem is that it is located on the third street, which is a bit far from the center, but some people will see this as an advantage. The room is nice and clean, comfortable and big enough, has everything you need for a short stay. The bed is comfortable, and the cleaning service in the rooms is excellent and efficient. The service in the hotel is generally excellent, the internet is a bit slow (but this is typical of almost all the hotels I've been to), I'm not sure it can be classified as a 5 star hotel, it's closer to 4 stars, there is a small pool on the top floor and a nice bar but nothing particularly impressive. The value for the price was quite good, provided you book a room a few months in advance, if you try to book a room for a near date - the prices go up and then it's better to take a 5-star hotel.

The hotel is excellent, customer service staff was outstanding. Peter the Amethyst Manager was highly supportive both to me and my partner. Peter assisted me greatly with wine and dine bookings, computer agencies and Taxi arrangements. His knowledge and experience is an added plus to an outstanding managing director as his style and deliverance of good customer service are to be highly admired and noted within the Amethyst Hotel. Peter is an assertive and a confident young man which makes his customers to respect him dearly. I will be happy to stay here again at this hotel as all the staff made both me and my partner feel very welcomed. The area is central to all entertainments and food restaurants and takeaways. The room facilities and the domestic staff was outstanding too. I have no negative comments to say about this hotel.

I was there for the first time in April 2023, and now again for a month stay, in this lovely hotel, it is definitely my future hotel in Pattaya. Right from the moment you enter the door and are greeted by the doorman Akai, you feel super welcome, and everything goes smoothly with check-in and up to a super nice room that has it all. On to a fantastic pool, with a view, and a lovely bar, which is often served by Alice, a quick and welcoming employee who makes sure you never lack for anything. There is also a nice fitness room, with all conceivable aids, which were used extensively. The breakfast was a chapter of its own, with Benny and Benz particularly picky about the guests, and when I got a bit of a cough, a special honey/lime tea was of course made, which I had for the rest of the stay. At the reception there was a delicious coffee bar, which Nisa conjured up, and made the most delicious coffee drinks for me. The cleaning was top notch, and the staff at the reception, always with a smile and a greeting, you just feel at home in this beautiful hotel. I will come again in 2024, for sure. Kurt Laugesen

I have visited Pattaya many times over the years and I have finally found a hotel which ticks all the boxes. The hotel is quite new and finished detail is to a high standard. The beds are super comfortable the shower and bath/ jacuzzi were fantastic, location was perfect and every member of staff are so friendly and always happy to help. The concierge Akie was super helpful and has great local knowledge. The pool bar staff (Alice & Jason) were also great fun and I enjoyed talking with them at the pool daily. Also the the staff on reception were very pleasant and I was always treated with a smile. I will definitely be returning to the Amethyst in the future. Thank you.
