Nestled on a serene beachfront, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is often celebrated for its friendly service and sophisticated ambiance. While the hotel's location garners praise for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions, some guests have called out issues with room odors, dated decor, and cleanliness, suggesting improvements could enhance the overall experience.
The value proposition receives mixed reviews, with some feeling the price does not always match the quality. Despite this, the amenities like beach access and pools are generally appreciated, though there are notes suggesting the need for maintenance.

Detailed Reviews
Initially, this hotel strikes me as unassuming and has aged somewhat. The standard rooms also give the same vibes.
Fortunately, the beachfront is one of the best in Pattaya. The hotel has placed big and comfortable “sofa beds” next to the beach for drinking or dining, adding to a cool and relaxing atmosphere.
The food served at the beachfront restaurant is good and if you are into junk food, you are in for a treat. The pizza especially the burgers are mouthwatering. Order a fresh coconut to go with it and you can cooled immediately in the tropical heat.
If you are thinking of going there, I would like to suggest buying the “club/lounge room package”. You get the best room in the hotel with paranormal view and also value for money as it comes with other benefits and discount.
In addition if you have time, go during the weekdays as the weekend can get pretty crowded with many people from Bangkok. Weekend is also more expensive.

The room is old which can see from the furniture in the room and amenities is really limited. Wifi signal isn't good. The duvet is very thin that I thought it's a mattress rather than a duvet. Lounge has very limited food and snacks during afternoon hours and do not refill. The good thing the staff is helpful and the hotel has it's own beach.

As ever, staff exceptional. Really faultless. Ok room but very tired looking bathroom. Quite disappointed. We had a great view but not all rooms will be as good. If we went again I’d pay extra for a room on the front of the building with a better ocean view of only because the rooms look in better condition/recently renovated, in particular the bathrooms. The pictures online aren’t the same as the basic room they supposedly represent. Blocked shower drain but this isn’t unusual. Frayed towels. Pound shop amenities. On the plus side when I went a few years ago the Pullman G in Bkk was even worse. A lot depends on the room you get. Brilliant breakfast.

Old construction wiith lots of dirt on beddings/doors/bathtub
Rather spend a bit more money on something newer. Booked executive club room which comes with a club benefit. Ironically, the "Club Benefit" is not so much of what i would call a benefit. The snacks are low-cost kind with several soft drinks. The website stated that club lounge is available until 7 pm with snacks and drinks. We visited at 6.40 pm - all food were gone. Asked the staff, they insisted on "no food or drinks are available after 6.30pm". If so, why don't you just let the guest know it and delete the :7pm" from the website !!!! I'd rather spend more money on something that is worth the money ! No more Pullman - totally not recommending

Quick review on this tired rundown hotel.
1) Don't waste your money on the executive room with club room access, you're are wasting your money.
Small executive lounge with not much to offer and they make airline food look 5 star.
2) Rooms and entire outside areas of the hotel need to be refurbished, not a 5 star hotel more a 2 or 3 at best.
3) No one knows what time the pool opens or closes, when booking the hotel through Luxury Escapes the fine print says pool hours are 6am to 7pm. Couldn't get a pool towel until 9am and staff said pool opens at 8am. Pools are not in good shape and many other hotel offer more.
4) Seafood buffet was $999 baht + service charge 10% + VAT 7%. When you purchase anything add at least 17% to the amount on the menu price list.
Bill for 6 people and 2 bottles of red wine 12000 baht $500 Aus. Over charged 130 baht and hotel refused to remove the overcharge as I had already signed the bill.
Food and beverage staff were fantastic and tipped 4 staff 200 baht each for excellent service.
Selection of food was just ok and they started running out of Oyters and Tuna sashimi in the first 40 min.
Again not worth the price for what is on offer.
I don't recommend this hotel at all as you have so many other choices in Pattaya for the price.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel.
5% Western visitors and 95% Thai families with children taking over the resort.
Club lounge was a waste of time and money.
Afternoon Tea 14:00 - 16:00 not much on offer
Eveng Canape and drinks 17:30 - 18:30 only 1 hour with not much variety and not worth the extra money charged for the executive room.
Last thing I need to mention.
Only 2 lifts to the hotel rooms and be prepared to wait 10 min plus to get a lift when the hotel is busy. No stairs except for access to the 2nd floor.
No Iron or Ironing bord
No shower curtains and water goes everywhere
TV mostly Thai channels

Having stayed literally in dozens of Accor properties across the world, including Thailand, this hotel, in my view, does not reflect Accor standards. We had our share of issues during our recent visit but also when I look at the overall customer service and problem resolution standards, it has a long way to go even compared to other Accor properties in Thailand.
Our share of problems included errors and long wait at checkout and general lack of courtesy from staff at Beach Club (excl Angelo). There was one error there which is almost a joke: I ordered a burger which was advertised with all the mouth watering toppings e.g onions, bacon, lettuce etc etc but I asked not to put any Thousand Island dressing on it (I even said it in Thai language). Guess what: the burger arrives with no toppings, only Thousand Island dressing on the burger patty! Apparently, the waitress did not know what Thousand Island was! But, it was written in the menu.
There was also a very serious problem. My wife has seafood allergy, and she ordered Thai noodles with no oyster sauce. Since she is Thai, it was explained clearly and repeatedly. As she ate the dish, she could tell the pork was marinated with oyster sauce. When we complained, there were normal denials from the staff, but after 20 minutes of discussion, the chef finally disclosed that they had bought marinated pork from outside and weren’t sure if it had oyster sauce. I am quite sure a ‘real’ Accor hotel would have better controls and responses and better sensitivity to this potentially life threatening condition.
Fortunately, my wife did not get the allergic reaction but that’s only because she stopped after the first bite and trusted her instincts that the pork was marinated with oyster sauce. But, if we had trusted the hotel staff, she would have definitely ended up in hospital emergency that night.
But there is always a silver lining. In our case, it was the most courteous and customer focused lady in the lounge. Khun Aon was there to look after us at breakfast and evening cocktails, and through her proactive approach, ensured we were not going hungry or thirsty. She also had a better understanding of allergies, and brought fresh salmon sashimi from the kitchen with no seafood eggs on top. Thank you, Khun Aon!
It is unlikely we will go back to this hotel despite its good location and great lounge. I would not be surprised if Accor at some point remove their branding from this hotel.

(+) the location is not too far from the toll road, very convenience with convenience stores and restaurants around, the breakfast is awesome with variations of menu and if you sit outside you can enjoy great landscape from the sea. I would recognize also the friendliness of all the staff, it was really feel homey
(-) Room interior is too old and it was so crowded while only 2 elevator available. I really recommended the hotel to do interior renovations and add more elevator

Hotel price is very cheap and amenities are super fabulous 😊 I stayed in a Seaview and it was so satisfying, a great escape from the very stressedful bkk.
Lobby/front desk.
A very warm welcome from the staff very jolly, but I was confused of how they checked-in us it supposed to be my friend and me are in the same room but they checked-in only my name sometimes it annoys my friend the staff asking the bill 3 times in a row that this is not the check-in name it should be checking my friend name as also my suggestion fix it.
Room.
Amazing it's like I payed 3 times in the five star hotel with a small cost.. I can say 150bucks and room is very clean and tidy 😊
Spa.
I was amazed to there service Thank you ms.dollar good job. And some point the is the spa outsource ?
Beach club.
I'm not so impressed nor happy in this place because the staff here are very impolite and they look lazy as I remember I was ordered to the waiter name tong, Cesar salad and pizza etc. Food it takes 1 hour to come and it's not correct the food when it serve to us I was so disappointed he didn't apologise to us he just put the food in our table, I was almost going to blow up and call the manager and this tong guy just walkout, good thing one guy approach us I think he noticed we are so angry I'm not sure the name but I think he's not Thai because he speaks English fluently maybe Malaysia/Filipino/or etc. I forgot his name he ask me about why I look so angry, then he apologized when he know what happened and fix our food he accepted the wrong and tell us he will accept the mistake I understand him maybe he's trying to save his staff. But please train your staff properly in the beach club because they are all impolite. Except the guy who fix the problem good job I forgot your name 😊 well going back to Location and two swimming pools and bed near the beach, happy hour at 2 to 5 pm it's an awesome get away.
Restaurant.
Breakfast is crowded and the buffet line no food installed the chef a bald guy who always shouting it's so annoying in early morning all you just want is a peaceful breakfast but it's irritating and also in the waiter name Peter I was asked him to get me some coffee he looks at me and he look like don't want to serve anyone that's why I go outside but as what I said why the buffet always no food because the food is so good I remember the noodle stand that was nice.
Everything was nice stay but I hope you change and take action for some issues I said here but overall it's a five for me and my friend like it too where coming back on new year see you again Pullman Pattaya❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The location is very nice, next to the beach where you can jump to the sea and enjoy the raise of your day on the beach and sea.
The hotel does not have parking lots enough inside the hotel, if you want to park yhe car inside the hotel you have to hunt it. The security guard is inactive; they were not willing to work and not well trained for traffic management. By the way the hotel has reserved 2nd parking lots which is outside and far away from hotel around 2km, of caz the shuttle bus was provided.
Even Front Office were very busy from crowded with guests on long weeked and everything they did, has to be done really quick. They are professional and very good at dealing with crowed of guests, which I really impressed by them.
Food & Beverage team is just ok, but service of staffs at Club Lounge are outstanding; they chic & cool & pay attention on guests very well.... Food taste and quality was good.
Cleanliness/ bed comfort and room maintenance should be improved!

This is now the 3rd time of staying at this hotel and still love it, room was great and the bed was decorated with swans and rose petals with champagne as Valentine’s Day was looming.
Breakfast was great and after day one they knew who we were without even having to state our room numbers. Very attentive with Teas and Coffees and again knew what you wanted after the first visit
The beach and pool area is clean, tidy and safe. Free shuttle into Terminal 21 made life so much easier.
Will recommend this hotel to any future travellers
