I stayed at this property for six nights with friends but coming from other hotels in Pattaya I was quite disappointed
The location is very good and if the structure were not so dated it would be beautiful but unfortunately it would need to be completely renovated
My room was on the first floor near the reception and in size it wasn't bad but the single beds were small and the mattresses were very saggy from age
The very serious thing was the very noisy ancient air conditioner and what's more it couldn't be adjusted, either off or on maximum! terrible!
We didn't use the pools but they didn't look too bad
The rooms also lack safes and you had to use the ones at reception...quite inconvenient
When we arrived in the room the mini fridge wasn't working and they had to replace it
The doors of the rooms on the ground floor were really damaged by the humidity... not a great business card
As for breakfast, well, we expected something more both in terms of variety (absence of sweets) and quality (cold or very dry dishes)

Great staff inparticular the reception ladies were lovely and very professional. Unfortunately loveholidays, when we booked, advised that a cabana room would sleep my wife & I plus our 10 year old daughter. On seeing the rooms, this was not the case as only 1 double bed room or a twin room with 2 single beds. Not the fault of Tropicana though. Loveholidays were at fault here. We had to pay additional 1200 baht per night to get an upgrade to a room with a double bed plus a single bed. This room is huge!!
Generally speaking the hotel is old and externally needs painting and some cracks filling but inside the rooms are good and clean. Beds comfortable. Bathroom good. Pool areas didn't have any beds when we first arrived but now there are around 30 brand new loungers and several new tables & chairs. Pool recently cleaned too. Lovely garden area.
Location is fantastic nrar beach and nice & quiet at night.
If you are really fussy then maybe not for you but personally I have no complaints.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel because it's not a high-rise building. Instead, the hotel's center is a beautiful garden that provides a peaceful retreat from the busy city of Pattaya. Even though I am a solo traveler, I highly recommend this hotel for families as well. I often see families with kids enjoying one of the two swimming pools. The pool area is a great place to socialize and meet other travelers. The front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful, especially GiGi. She is always available to answer any questions you may have. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and again when I visit Pattaya.

Stayed here for my quarantine period although I’ve booked a transfer for one person they wanted me to wait after a flight for another passenger to arrive. The website has different price on bf was another offer. When I contacted the hotel I was told that there was no offers now although bf was updated less than 12 hours ago. That was rather obvious to me as I am not Thai. And we know that there are different rules and prices for Thais and others. The room is spacious , the advantage for the hotel was that it has a big balcony and a bath apart from that there is no reason to stay here. The hotel is very dated and very dirty. Dust on walls, lamps, mould in corners. The pictures here are very well photo-shopped, the room is cleaned every third day after your first test. the food is ok most of the time however the portions are very small and staff have problems to bring it at times you want it. there is only a few English TV channels and plenty mosquitoes day and night. Bring your own booze as those hotels here are like prison.

Have just returned from a 10 night stay at Hotel Tropicana Pattaya, overall i was very happy with the Hotel and for the price. It is well located just a few steps from the beach in a nice part of town and very close to all the major attractions. I found the staff very kind and friendly and cannot do enough for you, we stayed in one of the Cabana rooms at the rear of the hotel and found it very clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed and a big well equipped bathroom. The air-con in the room was very good and very quiet and the room was of a good size,they provide a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities which i found was a nice feature,and a TV which had some international channels already programmed. The hotel offers a breakfast which we found was pretty good ,in particular the fresh fruit and pastries were superb as was the coffee and tea.The hotel also has a fitness room which guests can use which i would say was rather good and always kept clean and tidy and another nice feature. Great thing about this hotel is location, a few steps from the front entrance and you are on the best part of Pattay beach,and a few steps out the rear entrance and you are in a busy shopping street where only a very short walk brings you to the central marina area where there is a great shopping mall and outside vendors selling all sorts,also just a few minute walk further on brings you to the famous Terminal 21 shopping centre which is incredible and a "must see" venue.
I would most certainly return to this hotel in the future and recommend to family and friends without hesitation. Its not a five star hotel by any means but the hotel has a certain charm and a good atmosphere,and very good caring staff.

This is a customer who has been staying at the Tropicana Hotel on Soi-6 for 2 months. The Tropicana Hotel is a very nice resort-style hotel, and you can see a very perfect view of Pattaya Beach in the morning, and the reception staff are also very friendly. The staff Two people were wearing glasses and one person was not wearing them^^The three reception staff, GiGi, Mera, and Pleng, are very friendly. If you refrain from verbally abusing them when you come here, the staff will respond kindly. The largest in Pattaya. It is a resort & hotel, and there is a premier pool and a cabana pool, so you can enjoy it to your heart's content. Please remember the names of the three people ^^

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for almost 3 weeks.
The staff is simply fantastic always a big smile on and it doesn’t matter whether it’s morning or evening.
I hated trouble with air con in the room 5 minutes after a technician stood up and fixed it.
So only praise from me.

We were there in March 2023.
We had a great time. And they fell in love with Tropicana. Quiet, cozy, surrounded by greenery. Not every hotel has its own green area. We rested as if we were at our own dacha) the 1st floor with access to the pool would be ideal) We had the 2nd floor. But nothing bothered me! In the evening, after long walks, we went down to the pool and enjoyed the warm water! Alone!!! It's as if we have the whole hotel to ourselves! Bliss!
Our stay at the Tropicana was shortened by 5 days due to renovations. And they informed us that we would be moved to Siam-Siam for the rest of our vacation. No matter how cool Siam was, we didn’t want to leave the quiet, cozy Tropicana.

Breakfast is quite varied, you can choose your favorite! Fruits.
