During my recent stay at this centrally located hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by not just its prime location right in the heart of the city but also by the high standards of cleanliness maintained throughout the property. An added perk that I particularly enjoyed was the complimentary coffee available every morning from 7 AM to 10 AM. It was a small but thoughtful gesture that made my mornings even more delightful. The coffee itself was delicious, providing the perfect start to my day. The hotel's location could not be more convenient. Nestled in the city centre, it is within walking distance to all the major attractions in the old city. This made it incredibly easy to explore the area without the need for public transport or taxis. The vicinity of the hotel is bustling with life, offering a wide array of breakfast places and cafes, which meant I was never short of options for dining out. I would highly recommend it to travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a taste of the local hospitality.

We had a great stay at moon dragon hotel, it’s in a great location for old town Chiang Mai. Rooms were very clean and plenty of room for all your belongings. The Sunday night market takes place on the road outside the hotel which is cool. We had a room facing the road which was a little noisy at times but the hotel provided ear plugs so can’t really complain. The complimentary coffee in the mornings was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

This is def a 3 star hotel. The rooms are very large and come with safe, slippers, robes, umbrella and has a smart tv. Another hotel I stayed at did not. If you can get an upper floor room. I had a bottom floor and noticed the upper floor rooms had nice decks. Staff was nice. Location was great. The Sunday market was right in front of the hotel which was cool. The pool was tiny. If on a budget I would recommend this place. Otherwise splice a little

Attentive staff, comfortable beds, clean hotel/rooms, good shower, daily top up of water bottles. We booked this hotel because of the value for money and its great location. We did a 2 day jungle tour and were comfortable leaving our belongings there while we were away. Only negative is the room had a window which looked out onto a very close wall, so it didn’t really feel like you had natural daylight but we were out of the room 90% of the time so it didn’t bother us.

I stayed at this hotel because I was on a Study Abroad in Thailand! We got to this hotel past midnight and the worker at the front desk was extremely accommodating and checked us in quickly after we had a long travel day. Additionally, the next day we wanted to get a Tuk Tuk to the mall and the lady at the front desk came outside and helped give the address to the Tuk Tuk driver on to where we wanted to go! Very nice and helpful.

This hotel is in a great location of historic Chiang Mai. It is right on the street of a huge night time market. There are temples blocks away if you walk any direction outside of the hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. They helped my friend and I take a tuk tuk and get a good deal on it. They also stayed up late to ensure that our entire group got checked in correctly.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights (extended from 4) for the first leg of of our trip, and couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. The staff were all so friendly, they printed our boarding passes, arranged taxis and helped us extended our stay with the cheapest options. The cleaning team were always on hand around the hotel and left bags with water, refreshments and toiletries on the door if the do not disturb sign was on. The hotel amenities themselves were excellent, the pool with planted living wall was what drew me to the hotel originally and looked even better in person, the perfect place to rest after hot afternoons and recover from jet lag. The rooms provided a safety deposit box, tv with nextflix, YouTube and prime and the air conditioning cooled the room within seconds. Safe, friendly and an ideal location - overall a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chiang-Mai! Thank you so much!

This hotel is perfectly located in the Old Town, right on the road where the Sunday Night Market takes place. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean and the staff are so helpful. The air conditioning in the room is good. The pool area is great and the pool itself is really nice. Would highly recommend! Only thing I would say is to request a room at the back of the hotel away from the road if you are a light sleeper as it can be quite noisy, but this didn’t bother us at all and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching everything go on. We will definitely be back to Moon Dragon when we come back to Chiang Mai!

Stayed at the Moon dragon with my wife and two kids in the penthouse suite. The suite was lovely. It was very clean and had a huge bathroom! They don’t do breakfast and the pool is a tad bit on the cold side but for pure location and good rooms, you won’t go wrong. Would recommend.

Moon Dragon Hotel was in a great location. Room was lovely and clean, with a massive comfy bed! The pool area was a nice place to relax. Shame there was not a lot of sunlight onto the pool area, and no option for breakfast - however there were beautiful cafes nearby (and a 7/11). The staff were always so kind and accomodating, checking us in really late after a night time plane flight and then letting us keep our bags with them for the afternoon as we wandered the city before our train! Highly recommend.
