My partner and I stayed here for 6 days over the Loy Krathong/Yi Ping festival period and will without a doubt come back when we return to Chiang Mai. I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand during my life and I'd say Thapae Happy House easily makes my top 3 list. We stayed in one of their superior rooms,...

This hotel surprised me with its lovely decor. My room didn't have a balcony, but some do. Breakfast included although I didn't try breakfast as I save myself for Thai lunch instead. Very trendy rooms that suit the younger patrons as there are stairs (no lift) and in room you climb up on to the lounge area and sit on...

For the money I don't think there is a better place in a better location. Perfect walking distance within great shops and markets and conveniently. Located near the Thapae Gate on a quiet back street. Friendly service throughout stay. The breakfast could be a little better but for the price I think it's worth it. The room was very nice,...

Small boutique hotel which is clean, beautifully decorated with class, very welcoming, right in heart of the action and close to the amazing night markets too. Friendly and helpful tuk tuks nearby. A budget hotel that I'll keep going back to !! ...but beware there are only stairs - no elevator but we didnt mind.

The rooms were very comfortable and well worth the price. We paid around $60 Aus per night. The location was excellent, it was walking distance to the centre of town, markets and many restaurants and shops close by. Breakfast was included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Paid $60 NZD for one night with breakfast included. Pros - very clean, well decorated and thought out - The key system is like a paywave system which is really cool - spacious despite the area not being overly big - space utilised well - mosquito plug in room repellant provided - affordable mini bar - The staff are really...

My wife and i moved to this hotel from another one in the central district and while this one was a bit more expensive we like it a lot better. Aside from being well maintained and adorned, it has one of the best locations to stay in town (in our opinion). Situated a short walk from the Thapae gate it...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days. We liked that we could get into the old city quickly by foot and had number of bar/restaurant options within .5 mile. The rooms are small efficiency type spots that are comfy and clean. No complaints on that front at all. The management is nice and professional. I would stay here...

This newly opened small hotel ( of a bit less than twenty room) is nice and well thought of. The small open air lobby feels relax. My room which is five story walk up the shophouse - comes guesthouse is well equipped. The corner room has a big window and small patio facing east. The bed is firm. The sheets...
