Beautiful and tranquil hotel with fabulous and attentive staff. The pool area is stunning - we had a poolside room which was wonderful. Everything about this hotel is perfect and instantly relaxing from the cleanliness to the cocktails, breakfast and the wonderful setting - we will be back

This was an amazing hotel! The rooms were very spacious and clean. They were all decorated very ornately with stained glass and old wooden furniture. The pool was right in the center and very relaxing. There were plenty of chairs to sit by the pool and relax. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a mix of an egg station, waffles, traditional Thai food and desserts. We stayed 2 nights, checked out for 1 and then came back for 2 more nights and they remembered us and were very friendly. It was a chill vibe to the hotel with easy access to other places in Chiang Mai.

We spent four nights here, very cozy hotel in the centre of Chang Mai. Room with pool access, super spacious jacuzzi and massive shower, bed super comfortable, room nice and clean, stuff fantastic, I would definitely recommend this hotel while staying here. They catered well for gluten intolerance for breakfast.

Beautiful little Pearl in the city centre of Chang Mai. You will Enter This peacefull hotel with a large pool, clean and huge rooms. Breakfast is very good Thai style and with freshly made eggs cooked to order. It’s mainly a place for grownups, but we went with kids 7 and 9. It works well. Go outside the hotel and you Enter the vibrant citylife.

Our absolute favourite out of all 7 hotels we stayed at on our latest trip to Thailand. The room is huge & stunning, bathroom area spacious with a jet bath. Breakfast great quality, really enjoyed the beautiful relaxing of breakfast room setting right by koi carp. Pool great, comfortable sun beds with large cushions. Very elegant surroundings but a very chilled atmosphere. We wish we'd booked Pingviman for all 5 nights in Chiang Mai. It's actually far more spacious but £30 per night less than the Phor Liang Terracotta Arts Hotel & without all their strange rules & regulations. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in CM. All sights worth seeing are within walking distance.

Located within the walls of the old city of Chiang Mai, this chillaxed vintage hotel is exquisitely embellished in Lanna style. Its decoration and ambience made us feel like entering into the palace of the former ruler of Lanna. The pool (and the garden) is in the middle of the hotel. Staffs were also very nice and helpful. Our wooden floor room was ample, clean and beautifully decorated by some vintage stuffs such as telephone and Thai model. The stunning bathroom was spacious and very impressive. We had a pleasant night here. We had buffet breakfast in the hall surrounded by a Koi pond and adorned with many colorful Lanna lanterns. Breakfast was fine (however, lack of variety). Overall, It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. Totally recommended!

Liked · We had an Executive Suite with Pool Access for 5 nights, ground level right off the pool in the corner. The room was spacious and clean, storage everywhere. It is just like the photos, allot of woodwork and large bathroom. Our room was very quite. The location is good on the south side of oldtown, some restaurants close by and Rachadamnoem road (Saturday Night Walking Street) is just blocks away. Wat Phuak Hong (smaller and not as popular but unique in itself) just 40 meters north and Nong Buak Haad Park just behind the hotel (worth a visit if you have time). Breakfast is buffet style, it had a good selection of foods and pastries, only one espresso machine so a bit of a line at times on it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, pool area and grounds were nice and well kept nice oasis after a full day. House cleaning was good, we left early in the morning and returned about 5 PM every day so not sure when they did the cleaning or how long it took them. We had a couple of chairs on a porch outside the front door, we sat there several times overlooking the pool and discussing the day or deciding where to go for dinner.

My friend and I looked forward to our trip to Chiang Mai and were impressed with Pingviman's hotel facade and environment as well as the room. However we were very disappointed during our 4 days 3 nights stay there as; 1. Both the receptionists were curt and not helpful, they were not friendly and did not have any hospitality skills. First rule in hospitality industry is to greet your guests with a smile and wish them. This was seriously lacking from both the Front office staff. 2. The room's cleanliness was not up to par. When we requested the housekeeping staff to re-clean the room, the housekeeping staff came in and showed her displeasure by banging the vacuum around, mumbling under her breath and left in a huff without a response when we told her thank you for her service. It's a pity since the hotel's is beautiful and the architecture is authentic but this is spoiled by the staff's attitude. Even the coffee house staff were the same. We noticed that the treatment given towards the white guests was different from the Asian guests like us. Are we paying a different rate from white people that warrants a difference in attitude towards us.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Oasis in Chiang mai. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the beds very comfortable. They provide several free waterbottles and housekeeping every day. Every staff member is polite and friendly. Lovely pool and good breakfast. Top notch in every sence. Thank you so much for an excellent stay!

We stayed at the Pingviman Hotel in Chiang Mai on our Honeymoon in December. The hotel is in the perfect location and you can access most places quite easily by foot, motorcycle, bicycle or tuk tuk. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights of this hotel was the concierge, Art. He helped us find some incredible activities to do, at really competitive and affordable pricing. We really enjoyed the activities he recommended for us. Something I will say is that the cleanliness could be slightly better and the rooms could use a deep clean post-Covid. Breakfast was also very basic in comparison to some of the other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. Overall is was a lovely stay and hassle-free experience and we would stay here again.
