Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely place in Chiang Mai to stay. In the middle of the centre. Very clean small cozy hotel with nice beds and good food. The staff is fantastic. Breakfast is very cheap included the price. If you want more...you pay more ofcourse. Best hotel for us in Thailand

We were not staying at this "B&B". We found it by chance after visiting the nearby museums. The late lunch we had at NOURISH was delicious. All the dishes were well presented and freshly made with crisp and fresh ingredients. A very good healthy lunch and not over-priced like so many places in the Old City. Highly recommended!

This is a review of their little restaurant which services excellent smoothies. This place is called nourish.the hotel is also very nice and rooms large. Overlooking nice plaza that can be noisy at times. The day manager kate is very lovely and helpful. Excellent food for vegetarians at the restaurant. Will come back again

We chose this place based on the location, it's right dead center in the old city and we managed to get a room with a good price. Since it was a short weekend holiday and we were flying with budget airline, we only carry backpack & duffel bag. There is no elevator in the hotel, which is not a problem for us since we were travelling light, but if you are carrying luggages and lots of bags - you might want to look somewhere else. We were on the 4th floor and it was nice and quiet, but can hear the occasional people going up the stairs. Room is small but clean, not much space on the floor or table, but plenty of hangers. Toilet is clean with good running hot water. I personally always travel with my own toiletries, so it wasn't a problem for me to find out that this hotel doesn't provide shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, and toothpaste. My friend bought her shampoo/conditioner set from 7-11 shop round the corner. The hotel is just a couple of street away from restaurants, bars, and the main temples. Most of the attraction (elephant sanctuaries, cooking schools) will come and pick us up for free since we're located in the old city. It's best if you can inform the hotel what time you're arriving since they will wait for you to explain how the main door works. The hotel will close the door around 5pm and you have to use a passcode to open it up yourself which is not a problem, but after 5pm there is no receptionist/staff in the lobby which makes asking questions regarding local eateries or advice a bit tricky. But not a big issue for us. Overall, very happy with our choice.

I love every single thing in here. - The best location for Sunday Walking Street and easy to hop on the bus to go another tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants nearby. - The friendly and super nice staff. They are really helpful. - Safe for a solo traveler especially a woman. - The price was acceptable. - Extremely clean room & bathroom. - Good breakfast (but I never tried). - I stayed here on New Year day. I saw a thousand of lanterns in the sky at night. Can you imagine how marvelous it was !! * No parking lot ! But I'm a backpacker, so it's no need for me.

Our room was clean, minimal, and hip. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and filling. Most importantly, this hotel is in the perfect location. Right in the middle of Old City, we were able to walk to wherever we needed.

Stayed here while on a work trip and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are small and simple but clean and the hotel's location is ideal. There is a restaurant in the lobby that is supposed to function as a walk-in cafe for passers-by but it is poorly run and I found both the food and coffee quite bad (and that is saying something.) If you can, try and book directly with the hotel and get a few bucks dropped off the price if it doesn't include breakfast. The neighborhood has dozens and dozens of great cafes and coffee shops so you can replace a disappointing breakfast with an excellent one by walking just a few minutes in any direction.

Just the right location, not super busy but in the old area. Easy walk to massages, temples and other tourist sites. Really nice staff who were so attentive and helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and good beds. Overall a great stay

I stayed here two nights and feel impressed. The room is clean, simple and comfy. It s well located in the middle of the city that i can walk around. What i enjoy here is the food. I ordered tomyum fried rice and it was awesome with many big shrimps. The chicken pesto sandwich tastes very well too... I had a wonderful time here in Chiang Mai and sure at Moto Velo Cabin!

This place has a great location and feels pretty clean but these are really the only pros in my opinion. The beds are the hardest we slept on in the city and the hot water was the most tempermental. For the price you are paying, there are better options. The front desk was helpful..
