We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and had thoughtful details such as luxury soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Each room had a rack outside the door for drying towels and swimsuits. It was a short walk to the river and many restaurants, shops, and the night market. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples or families!

This place is perfect for those who love a family-friendly atmosphere. The hotel is small but charming, with friendly and welcoming staff. Every time I walked past the lobby, someone would greet me warmly. The rooms are clean and simply decorated in a traditional Lanna style, but what makes it special is the balcony overlooking large, beautiful trees. In the evening, I had the chance to borrow a bicycle from the hotel and ride along the Ping River, stopping to enjoy some snacks from local street vendors. This trip turned into a wonderful experience of discovering Chiang Mai at a slower, more heartwarming pace.

It was an excellent place to stay in Chiang mai . I stayed in two other places in Thailand such as bangok and Pattaya . But I felt this place is very peaceful and calm . Those who prefer to relax could definitely prefer this place . They have a nice conventional ambience with good swimming pool and great room service . In toilets they provide unique shower gel and body wash which was too good and they even sell the same in front desk. Front desk ppl help us in booking grab even . Front desk staffs were very courtious.
But one major drawback i felt was the food . For this wonderful place and ambience, Food can really be much better .

One of the few resorts in the city where there are sun loungers next to the pool. We looked at many different resorts and often there is simply a lack of places to relax on the resort.
This small resort is a charming oasis in the middle of the city. If the hotel is fully booked, which was the case when I visited, tables can be crowded at breakfast peak times. However, this was not a problem at the pool. In addition to western breakfast, breakfast also offers some Thai specialties and English breakfast, as well as fruit and freshly squeezed juice. In the evening you can eat in the restaurant, but it closes at 8:30 p.m. I had a soup there that was extremely tasty. The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. The room has a safe, a hair dryer and a laundry service. The price is 90 baht per kilo for washing and drying. The rooms on the ground floor are unfortunately quite dark and thinly soundproof. The air conditioning works perfectly, but it would have been even nicer if you could open the windows thanks to fly screens. If you just want to spend a few days in the city and relax as an alternative to the stress of city life, then this oasis is the perfect place for you. One of the best-stocked supermarkets in the city is also just around the corner, and the river with some charming restaurants is not far away. I would definitely come back.

The spacious family suite had all we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a large room that could be partitioned in two by closing the sliding doors. The hotel even provided a small packet of detergent powder and a drying rack.
Breakfast was great, my family has different preferences and all of us found our favourites. My favourite is the Rice Soup (it is a rice porridge) - it was cooked with slices of pork one morning, prawn on another, etc. It was like grandma's cooking and warmed the cockles of my heart before filling my tummy. There were breads, cakes, pancakes, waffles, bacon, baked beans, chicken sausages, pork sausages, tomatoes, rice porridge, glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaf, salad, etc, and eggs prepared the way we requested. The staff were all lovely. They were all so friendly and helpful. They gave the place a warm, neighbourly vibe.
IMPORTANT if you are taking Grab to the hotel: type the destination as Rimping Village Boutique Hotel. We didn't include 'Boutique' initially and were twice brought to a busy traffic junction 5-minute drive away.

It is 15 minutes away from their airport and was very easy to take a taxi to come here. The property is lush and comes alive with fresh greenery. For nature lovers this hotel is a must! The breakfast area overlooks the pool which is cool and pristine. The rooms are spacious but still give a down to earth, nature vibe at the same time. I had booked the deluxe room with a balcony. The nature from the balcony was beautiful to look at in the morning while having a nice cup of coffee. The breakfast assortment was very nice and it only took seconds for us to pick out the yummy goodies that we were going to eat that morning. The food is well cooked and eating breakfast by the pool was quite relaxing. There were also bicycles that you can ride around the property and also take them to the streets and explore the various markets on bikes as a family. The location is a 5 minute walk to the iron bridge which further leads to the main road and the 2 markets (the daily night market and the Sunday market). Miss Ae was very sweet and explained us the location of all the attractions in good english. This was very a good hotel and will definitely come back and stay here a again when I come back to Chiang Mai. To sum it up beautiful Resort, great location, absolutely helpful and always smiling Ae, Emme and the entire team in this resort.

As soon as I arrived, I felt taken care of! Hotel staff took my bag to my room while I checked in. I ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant my first night and had a complimentary drink. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was perfect and they have an espresso machine you may make whatever drink you like. They gave me a bike lock and map on a day to explore the city with one of their complimentary use bikes and told me where all the markets would be and places I could park. For anyone visiting Chiang Mai for the first time or again I would highly recommend staying at Rimping Village. The pictures are accurate and you will enjoy a wonderfully relaxing and luxurious time. You are also still very close to all the cafes and tourist attractions while still in a quiet location near the river. I hope to come back and stay again soon!

Nice hotel in a good location close to the Iron Bridge. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious with free water and fruit daily. They also provide the little extras such as hand sanitiser and masks. Only downside was that perhaps the breakfast was a little lacking in choice. But overall, a lovely stay and would recommend

The hotel is very convenient to the Sunday night street market and they have bicycles for free use if you want. The hotel itself is good. Tidy room with 100%. Lockout curtains, so easy to sleep in on a comfortable bed. Our room was on the ground floor right next to the pool so we didn’t even bother to lock the front door. Breakfast was filling , choice was limited as you would expect in a smaller hotel but I did not feel like I needed to get more food from outside. The pool is large but could use more shade for my liking. This plus the complete lack of any fitness room /equipment makes it good but not great for me. If that doesn’t bother you then give it 5 out of 5 cause the staff were brilliant. Very helpful and patient. Even put a cake in our room for my birthday. Thoroughly recommend.

Rimping Village Hotel, hidden within the old town community, offers large rooms with finished facilities and amenities in Northern Thai Style architecture. I chose this hotel because I want to experience the local life that Chiangmai has to offer. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like I was in a local's home. The gardener paused his work to assist me with my luggage. Imm and Aoy are the two Front Office ladies who can arrange absolutely everything for you. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood surrounded by local homes. You can go to a nearby temple and a fresh market where locals go to buy food. It's a unique experience.
Despite the hotel's historic architecture, each room has two televisions, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Netflix provides limitless entertainment. The hotel provides all necessary amenities, including a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. I give this hotel five stars for location, service, and comfort.
