Everything was perfect in this place! First of all they reply fast to any query you might have by LINE, you have access to wifi and breakfast menu details in their LINE too. Then once you're there the staff is super friendly and helpful. They gave us tips, found a car to rent for us (with no crazy markups), and provided free bicycles to roam around...
Then the room was beautiful and comfortable, very clean with a smart TV and a bathtub if you want to relax more. We had a small balcony too.
They also have a cafe with a small shop at the entrance, the scones and banofee cakes are lovely and I bought several souvenirs there.
Finally the location is perfect, you can walk easily from there to few main temples, one museum, tons of massage and coffee places and it is on the Sunday walking street market lane (literally you come out of the hotel and you are inside the market). There's also a boots and a 7-11 at the entrance.
Strongly recommend it!!!!!!!

The Buri Gallery House is a lovely little hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. Due to its location in the old town of Chiang Mai, many things are comfortably reachable by foot. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with a nice asian interior design. The bathrooms are spacious as well, clean, smell great, not a bit moldy despite the heat and humidity in Thailand.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They try to accommodate you wherever they can. They booked a trip to the Living Green Elephant Sanctuary for us (highly recommended!!! Real sanctuary. Not one of those scams where the Elephants are enclosed to get them close to the tourists) ans even gave us a 200B discount on the tour without us even asking.

The breakfast is okay. They have some variety on the buffet (not overwhelming) but many things are often pretty sparsely. They have a menu on the side where you can order one dish pp per breakfast. Some things are good (thai fried eggs, thai soup, Nutella toast), some are not really recommendable (english breakfast).

Overall, I highly recommend this cute little hide away in Chiang Mai :)
Would come again.

We loved staying at Buri gallery because the staff was so friendly and helpful, with lots of good advice for things to do. The breakfast was delicious, with choices of fresh fruit, espresso with hot milk, and an extensive breakfast set menu. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with the traditional Lanna style accents. Thank you!

Stayed at Buri Gallery House for a couple of nights whilst exploring Chiang Mai. Great location to see lots of temples and local attractions. We arrived via night train from Bangkok and the hotel allowed us to check in early and help ourselves to breakfast which was much appreciated as we were very tired and hungry after our train ride. Breakfast was great and included fresh eggs to order. All staff were helpful however we were approached every morning as we were eating breakfast by the guest experience staff member which was slightly inconvenient and poor timed.

My wife and I recently stayed for five-days in this hotel. It offers great value for money, and is in a good location in the Chiang Mai Old City; a convenience store (7-eleven) and pharmacy (Boots) are close by. The room we stayed in is spacious and has Thai style decor. The outside sitting area feels bigger than what is shown in hotel photos. Hotel staff, in particular the lady at the reception, are friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips (such as where we may find the best Khao Soi in the area) and went our their way to assist us. They are such wonderful people. Thank you so much……

Room Tip: The room we stayed in is on the upper floor. Older travellers may find the stairs rather steep....

What a beautiful boutique place. All staff are beautiful souls also at night go round lightning Joss sticks to keep the mozzies away. Take a second floor room to avoid noise of other customers scraping chairs across the floor. Water replenished everyday cleaning service if you want it. Pool is extremely clean and refreshing good size for property. Good included breakfast even I could eat there and I'm fussy. Cafe close gives you ,10,% , discount. Very good position for all trips and the famous night market. Unreal temple at end of road. Kanoon the dog is head of security but as soft as a marshmallow I love him and will miss him greatly. Hopefully I will see him next year

Cute boutique hotel with a near-unbeatable location in the Old City. Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife as part of a month-long honeymoon in Southeast Asia. The room was nice, a little bit dated (shower and TV especially) but decorated in traditional Thai Lanna style, but what really made this place for my wife and me was the staff. The manager Kang and her friendly, accommodating staff were just delightful, and very helpful. They provided activity recommendations for us (the cooking class they recommended was one of our highlights for the whole trip!), pointed us to a hospital when my wife got ill, and even gave us adorable little honeymoon gifts. The included breakfast was also delicious, as were the cocktails (use the half-off coupons and take advantage of their generous happy hour!). Overall, we would be happy to stay here again.

If you are at Chiang Mai, trust me you have to stay here!!! The property is exceptionally boutique. From the get go the staff would help you with your Chiang Mai trip and suggest you other attractions. The rooms are decorated in a very traditional old Chiang Mai ways with ample space for you to enjoy the ambience of the rooms. The property provides you bikes to go around the city along with locks. The pool is also good with service to have drinks at the pool until certain time. The breakfast is good and value for money. The property has a restaurant which has wide variety of food options and talented bar team to offer you amazing drinks options. There is a laundry service with an economical price. The staff offers you complimentary pineapple sweets. Last but not least there is a dog which is very friendly and sweet. We felt like home at Buri. We were so happy with Buri that when we returned back to Chiang Mai we stayed again.

The hotel was situated in an excellent location near to many bars and restaurants with the ancient walls within easy reach. Hotel staff were lovely, very friendly, as was the resident pooch!
Breakfast was fantastic , with a lovely range of different choices.
My only criticism would be that the room we were allocated was exceptionally dark. At the back of the hotel, the seating area was covered and fairly enclosed from all sides, meaning that sunlight couldn’t penetrate. The whole room seemed to lack TLC and could do with being ‘done up’.
