Detailed Reviews
We stayed at The Green Tiger House for 3 nights in February.
The staff at this hotel are very helpful and polite. The room fulfilled our needs and the shower and aircon were excellent. There are refillable bottles of shower gel etc in he room as this hotel is very environmentally conscious which is a great thing to see.
Breakfast was amazing and there was so much choice. I never left feeling hungry. The cappuccino with coconut milk was very tasty as were all the meals that we ate on site.
There is a small pool to cool down which is location round the back behind reception/
When we visit Chiang Mai again this will definitely be our choice of accommodation.

This guest house/hotel is nicely decorated and serves delicious breakfast meals. Everything we tried was really fresh and savory especially the banana pancakes, coconut yogurt, and the freshly squeezed juices. The rooms are simple, spacious and very clean but we had a slight problem with the room. Even though we booked a room with a double bed size they told us they were booked out so my husband and I had to sleep in separate beds.
The location is great but at the same time quiet as it is situated on the edge of the old city but still walking distance to many nice restaurants, bars, cafes, temples, etc. We would definitely go back to stay in this hotel.

Green Tiger House is located in the old town, but far enough away from the main hustle and bustle of the city to give the traveller a restful experience. It has modern rooms and showers with good supplies of hot water and quiet air con. There is an enchanting garden on the ground floor where ferns are grown in the trees and frogs croak in the lily water tubs. A swimming pool has been ingeniously fitted into the far end of the courtyard. It enables the swimmer to get several strokes into each length and it is refreshing to take a dip when the temperatures are high in the city.
The unique feature of Green Tiger House is the cooking, which is vegan. I had never experienced a 100% vegan diet before staying here, and discovered that the food for breakfast was extremely tasty and beautifully served. There is also free tea and coffee all day long, with coffee mate for milk.
Vegan food is also served at lunchtime and the evening, when the guesthouse opens its doors and becomes a popular restaurant.

Located in the quiet residential estate within the old city, it's a good location as it's walkable to many temples. There's a delicious vegan breakfast (if you purchase a stay inclusive of breakfast), and unlimited orders so you can eat as much as you like. Their pancakes are so good, it's a must-try. Their staff is very pleasant & they remember our dietary requirements thus it was a breeze ordering daily.
There's a cute resident cat roaming around, we enjoyed trying to look for him & take photos. The improvement I would suggest is to have a water dispenser on each floor & lift (ease for the elderly). Their shower products are really good & nondrying.

This was my favorite hotel in Thailand. Not only was the breakfast amazing the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with a beautiful Mountain View. I love the open layout of the hotel. All the public space is outdoors. I honestly think the coconut yogurt is the best most creamy yogurt I have ever had. The cream on the pancakes was also very good. My husband who eats meat also loved the food. I also appreciate that they provide reusable water bottles and have a fountain. Staff were also helpful.

Our stay at Green Tiger House was amazing thanks to the wonderful staff and especially to Ms. Fahh. Fahh (The "sky" in Thai) is our angel! We can't describe how protective and carrying person she is.
Our booking included the breakfast at the Reform Kafe, located on promises. Reform Kafe should not be missed when you are in Chiang Mai! The food is sooo delicious!
The room was spacious with the balcony, cleaned daily, white towels, unlimited supply of drinking water, tea with tea kettle and mini fridge.
We are the cats lovers and two cats, especially baby kitten, made our stay unforgettable.
We been before at the various hotels in Chiang Mai, but this is the best stay in Chiang Mai!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. We came here after a week of volunteering at ENP and we were in heaven. Comfy beds, perfect shower, amazing food and love all their sustainable practices. When we checked in they gave us a reusable bottle and were able to refill it anytime.

We stayed 7 nights at The Green Tiger House and it's a quiet oasis from the busyness of Chiang Mai. Our room was on the 4th floor so steps to climb but great for views and there is a free tea and coffee station up on the 4th floor. The breakfasts have been the best we have ever had and were a joy each morning. Very filling. A great choice of coffee. We also ate here most nights in the Reform cafe and the food was excellent. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also loved the cats who live here and provided great entertainment.

We had an excellent stay at Green Tiger House. Our room was comfortable and simple, with very effective A/C (which is crucial). What really made our stay so outstanding was the staff and breakfast! Everyone on staff was incredibly accommodating, from helping us find the best way to get places, to memorizing our breakfast orders after just a couple of days! Definitely book your stay with the included breakfast—everything on the menu is fantastic. Portions are healthy, and generally we were good to go until dinner around 5pm. The location was very convenient to the Sunday night bazaar, and walking distance from most everything in Old City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

This is, hands down, the most pleasant hotel we've ever stayed at. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 days in January, and were blown away by the friendly atmosphere and customer service at the front desk. Everyone was so accommodating and warm and it really enhanced the stay. The location is perfect; on a quite residential back street but walking distance to everything. The hotel lobby is out of a magazine with an outdoor garden and seating area for their restaurant.
The food at the restaurant is excellent. I'm about as carnivorous as they come, but happily ate a vegan breakfast every morning.
While this hotel isn't the most luxurious or modern, it's extremely comfortable, clean, and calming. We will happily stay again.

I booked through agoda and booked my ride with agoda. THey dropped me right at the door.
They have many egg dishes.
Please forgive my lateness to respond. I don't come to the site as frequently as I should. I had some difficulty with getting a hold of them when I was trying to confirm my reservation (as a solo traveler I just wanted to confirm everything for peace of mind). I finally heard back from them after a few tries. They were very apologetic. To be honest, the difficulty I had with getting a response for the confirmation was very out of character with the rest of my experience with them. But you are definitely not alone in your difficulty.
Hello pompeyjaxliv
Thank you for your question.
The cost for a taxi from the airport is approx. 150-160 baht.
Best regards,
Daniel
How is the plumbing at hotel. Can you flush toilet paper in toilets or do you have to use trash bin.
Sorry for the late reply. I flushed the paper even though trash bin was provided.
