3 of us stayed at the eagle house for 2 nights. The room was very basic and not all that attractive, but very cheap. I would not recommend staying on the ground floor here as we had a few visitors in the form of cockroaches one of the days and again the following morning. The showers aren't at all powerful...

The requested amounts of walking hours were in line with the request. nice food and nice place to stay overnight in the middle of a authentic thai mountain village. interesting guide. could tell a lot of the local history. beautiful scenic walktrough....

The rooms here are basic but clean , the staff are extremely friendly and the hostel has a chilled out boho atmosphere . They also encourage responsible tourism with refillable bottles being offered , which is a refreshing way to spend some of your trip . However , this is not a hostel for young back packers looking for a...

My partner and I stayed at Eagle House for a week or so. The rooms were basic but they were clean along with AC and a hot shower, just what we were looking for. It is located in a quiet neighborhood just outside of the old city. The location was great for us because it was close to a small...

Nice basic room, although can be quite hot in a fan room so an AC room may be best, awesome trek to some great places and a very knowledgable guide. Tea & toast is available for a tiny fee and the staff were super friendly. Every one of them called me by name when they saw me, which I thought...

I wasn't able to stay at Eagle House (just east of the Old City in a quaint neighborhood), but I booked a one-day trek for a group of 17. It is very easy and pleasant to work with Annette and her Thai partner, as they are friendly, straightforward, reasonable, and ethical. We were picked up and dropped off around the...

It's a really nice place to take a rest, it's really quiet. The owner is friendly and can speak differents languages. They propose many activities, the cooking Thai food school on one day is nice. You can learn a lot of things about Thai food, cook 5 differents dishes for only 1000 bats ( 35 euros ). But the trekks...

I had the fan room with cold shower.Room is spacious. Bed is firm which suited me fine. For the sort of prices they are charging, It is very clean. room, bed, toilet/shower and pillows and linen were all very clean. I was one night in a similar priced guesthouse and the pillow was so disgustingly yellow. The staff is very...

I stayed here at the end of my Thailand trip. It's located in a nice area, accessed by weaving through interesting laneways, very close to the central area of Chiang Mai. Helpful staff. I was surprised at how quiet the area was at night (i.e. good sleep!).

“I like the room at the top of the stairs, near to the reception area”

“Second floor on the balcony is quieter and one can keep the window curtains open without losing privacy. Also can hang wash on balcony. But stay clear of the room near the water tank. It makes noise and I heard from others it was annoying.”

“All cheap rooms are on groundlevel. You will probably not need an AC.”

“Stay on the upper floor not the bottom floor near the gate. They close it at night so you will hear people coming and going. Also, there is a child that plays in the community area at 7am so go to higher ground.”
