We really liked this place - in fact we stayed twice both before and after our trip to Pai. Great air con, great rooms, good storage and bathroom. Also comes with a fridge. Free tea and coffee available in lobby when reception is open (about 7am-9pm when they lock the gates). Great location for a 15/20 minute walk to the...

Trigong is a great place to stay when first arriving in Chiang Mai. The location has many types of restaurants and coffee shops, massage, bars all nearby while you get acclimatized to temperature, Thai food and all that Chiang Mai has to offer. Trigong is safe, clean and friendly. We had some extenuating circumstances with our arrival time, room needs,...

A lovely guesthouse. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and there is free tea and coffee all day in the reception area. The rooms are clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. It's a bit noisy on a Saturday night, but that's to be expected. I would prefer to be a little closer to Thae Pae Gate, but...

I did a 4 night stay at Trigong. My prime purpose to visit Chiang Mas was to meet Ajahn Maha Arwon, Luong Phor Plien and Luong Phor Prasit. But, I didnt have enough info on how to reach their monasteries. Then Adam (Father) and Deuy (Son), the owners assisted everything from what time to do the morning alms and transportation....

Beds very poor - soft and old, sagging where others have slept. The AC is old and noisy. We had to move rooms twice due to this. Possibly worse is that the hotel has NO atmosphere. All concrete and no real place to chill out. Lobby seemed the private preserve of the owner.

We stayed at Tri Gong Residence for 3 nights, with some goods and bads: GOOD: - We were allowed to take our room 1.5 hours ahead of normal check in because the previous guests had checked out early and the room was ready. - It is in a good location, close to the North Gate market, a couple of bars...

Stayed one week in Chiang Mai. Pleasantly surprised by little balcony with screen door. This was nice to hang washcloth to dry, etc, or leave open on cooler days. Room is small, air con was overwhelmed by 90 degree heat. Took a day to get Maintenance to repair. Same with clogged shower drain and sink drain. Shower is hot, sink...

I went somewhere else before here for a week and after day 1 chose to book somewhere else. For just a few dollars more I found this gem. It was such a relief to have a room that actually had some decor! Fridge, plenty of storage and nice lighting. I was so happy! And, to top it off, the bed...

Very nice room in a great corner of the old town. There is everything you need within walking distance, like bars, restaurants, cafes, 7/11, travel agents, laundry, and massage. Tri Gong is very busy and you must book ahead. We arrived at 8am after the overnight train from Bangkok, but could not check in until 1pm. We had booked two...

We stayed six nights a the Tri Gong. We had requested a room on the bottom floor as my wife has problem climbing stairs. When we arrived the room was ready. The room was cozy and had a refrigerator where we could store our fruit and use the kitchen to prepare the fruit for breakfast. The eating area was a...
