After looking at many places in town that looked like prison or were too pricey, we chose to take 2 rooms at the Julie Guest House because the price was good and rooms actually like rooms. I had a room in the old section, and the room was pretty basic but okay. The mattress and pillow were average, and the...

Mosquitos every where, bedbugs and the wifi is frequently dropping out, and it is at a good location but cost is 180 baht a night AC, but I found out other places can do 230 private room nearby afterwards and I don't mind anything else but the bedbugs is just ridiculous

rooms are basic but comfortable with sheet and bath towel, it is a good option when you travel with a bag pack smiling and helpful team, welcoming guesthouse with good food, free pool and wifi not bad you can rent scooter and bike, and organize trekking, cooking course... in the center

I stayed in this Dorm as part of an emergency stop. Being a bike rider, I normally avoid Dorm style accommodation due to storage and security concerns, but I was very happy with Julies GH2. The rooms are clean and compact with around 12 bunks to a room. Each bed has power and curtains to divide. Gauging the people staying...

We stayed in Julie Guesthouse Part Two. This was OK, the air conditioned dorm was clean and big enough; however the toilet/shower room wasn't the greatest and with one between 10 people there was often a shower queue. The staff were quite varied in attitudes - we tried to book an extra night and the girl we spoke to said...

Atmosphere at Julie's is definitely good, free pool and the food is ok but: Had bedbugs in one room put me on the waiting list to change room staff couldn't handle it for a few days although there were a lot of free beds and in general staff was a bit arrogant. Plus Julie's guesthouse definitely favors people who book...

I reccomend Julie Guest house to everybody who like places with backpakers atmosphere. You can stay in dormitory or single/double room, there are also relaxing zones and restaurant downsters so you can hang out with other backpekers. Staff is incredibly nice and helpfull, they seem to remember names of all guests :) The rooms are clean and cheap :)

Easy to find, good wifi, comfy beds with curtain for some privacy and an overall social atmosphere. There were cheaper options. However, those were all full during peak season, so Julie Guest House Part 2 it was! The only qualm I had was with others in the room who did not want the AC on. Seeing as all fan rooms...

I stayed at Julie Guesthouse Part 2, which has dorms. The dorms are clean, and the beds have comfortable mattresses, a reading light, and a small curtain near your head which provides semi-privacy. My only complaint would be that the air didn't smell very fresh, I'm guessing due to lack of sufficient ventilation in the building, but it's not noticeable...

I stayed three nights at Julie's Guesthouse and wouldn't recommend it. Yes it was very cheap (single room without bathroom was 150 baht per night) but I think you can find better places to stay in Chiang Mai. Room and bathrooms were clean but seriously need some fresh paint. Wifi only works at the reception and is not reliable at...
