Small, family run guesthouse. The lady who works there is the sweetest soul and you can genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. The coffees in the morning are well made, as are the breakfasts. Cold bottles of water are correctly priced and can be grabbed from the fridge as you're running out the door and added to your tab.

My partner and I stayed here not long ago and were very disappointed with this guesthouse. We booked into the Parami Guesthouse going by multiple previous good reviews on booking.com and trip advisor. Not sure if we just had a one off, but from start to finish, everything was disappointing. The family who run the place are very friendly, but... More

The 2 things that made this guesthouse good were the family that run it and the fact you felt like it was a traditional Thai wood house. It is alittle noiser because it is wooden and the mattress in our double room on the first floor was rock hard. Apart from these things though we found it was a good... More

I had chosen Parami Guesthouse from the internet purely because of its proximity to EFL Learning Centre, where I was to spend 5 weeks learning Thai. Turned out to be the luckiest random choice I've ever made. The owners are Swiss (now returned home) but it explains a lot: the wonderful Western breakfasts; fresh milk instead of powdered; carefully chosen... More

Well run, clean clean. Staff try hard to help. I found the no food in room policy good from one angle but meant I couldn't snack unless going to a restaurant or eating while walking. This was inconvenient particularly as I had my own room and space to eat American breakfast was not great. I couldn't eat it. Coffee was... More

We stayed as a couple in a double room with a private bathroom. Our room was simple but equipped with everything we needed. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes, so if you stay bring your DEET, but this was pretty common in Chiang Mai. The lady who runs the guesthouse and her family are helpful and don't practise 'hard... Actually i wanted to give 4 stars because the location is a bit far from town and my room was very noisy and i really needed earplugs, buuut...the lady in charge and the other staff was so friendly and helpful and just perectly nice, i can't help but give the best review! This is a lovely guesthouse to stay in if you want a smooth, relaxed trip to Chiang Mai! The moment we walked in we were greeted with the smell of incense, amazing coffee, and smiling staff who were a huge help to us throughout the week. They help you call taxis, arrange activities (such as the elephant sanctuary visit or... More

I spent four weeks at Parami Guesthouse while taking a TEFL course in Chiang Mai. I had a simple room with A/C and a private bath for a completely reasonable price. I would have paid far more for the incredible hospitality provided by Tor and her family. Little things made all the difference: If I had no time for breakfast... More
