Just stayed here, the location is the best, be sure to be here on a Sunday to catch the Sunday Walking market ( 100 times better than more touristy the Night Bazaar).
The staff here really make this place. It's like being in a home....More
My friend and I stayed for a month with the 3 Sis, from mid Nov 2011-Dec 2011. They got to know us and our habits and tried to accommodate accordingly. They are very friendly and helpful. X (that's his name) works at night and is...More
Booked to stay at 2Sis after looking around at many oither places and reading various reviews. Very friendly and clean, right in the heart of everything and of course the wonderful Sunday market which is a must. Very comfy bed and hot shower in room,...More
This place is ok but there are far better for similar or much less. The area is noisy, polluted, full of tuk tuk drivers clogging up the road, virtually no parking. One night was enough for us. Staff are lovely, food is ok, location is...More
Based on a recommendation from a travel forum and reading the reviews on tripadvisor I booked the 3 Sis for my lodging in Chiang, and I wasn't disappointed. For starters, the pricing couldn't be beat. At about $50 a night we had very nice clean...More

I do not think that 3 Sis is that convenient for a family. We were on the three floor and the showers were simply not functioning well. They moved us to the second floor and those showers on the new floors, hot and cold were not consistent and it took so much time to get the right temperature. The breakfast
Is really poor, no exaggeration--not good for a family.
Wifi was also a huge problem.
If you read the negative reviews, you will get a better idea. I read them recently and things have not changed much over the years.
We found Uber helpful to take us from one place to another cause the weather was quite hot for our kids. With Uber where we stayed was not such a big deal, but good breakfast and good showers were important. In our travels, we found it most convenient to get data on one of our phones at the airport which came as a crucial part of our convenience.
Thailand was the last stop of 5 countries. It is more expensive here than we thought, not only hotels but food as well.
Best wishes on your travels. I would be happy to answer any question/s you may have.
Oh, hope you are here on a Sunday for the evening street market, otherwise we enjoyed our stay with our out of town trips.
On another note, if you cannot find a better place than 3 sis, and your child has their own food, and you go and buy breakfast food the day before and wifi is not a problem and you don't mind waiting 5 minutes before your shower gets to the right temperature, it can work for you for it has it own charm and the hotel has a lobby where your child can play a bit.
