Wonderful place; hidden away off the main road in it's own grounds - The accommodation is clean and original with a wonderful host and a perfect location to explore Chiang Mai and beyond. Breakfast is basic but all you need and the owner is a full of knowledge and happy to arrange any request from an early morning taxi to...

This was our second visit and was almost as good as the last. This time we opted for a front suite which was large and roomy. Not as luxurious as the back ones and the bathroom was smaller and older. The main difference being though is the traffic noise which was very noticeable. The grounds are still a haven to...

How anyone could be unimpressed with "Baan Orapin" astounds me. It is always a treat to stay here. Wonderful staff, lovely breakfasts,an absolute oasis and we had no issues with the wifi. It was a shame that Pepsi wasn't here as his father has passed away and he went home. Will see him next visit. If you haven't stayed here do...

The reviews raves about the owners service, we saw him the first day in 1 minute, and the last morning, we were there 5 days, the rest of the staff speaks really poorly English. our towels wasnt changed for 5 days, until late the 4.th night, when we asked for new ones. the location is nice in the garden, very...

We stayed for 3 nights at Baan Orapin and really enjoyed it. We were in a room in the block at the back of the hotel, which was quiet and peaceful. The buildings are attractively built in a traditional style with lots of teak. The room itself was fairly large, with a separate lounge area in fromt of the bedroom....

Quiet historic property. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and have lots of Thai charm. Service was spectacular. Pepsi met us late at night to welcome us though the gates. He also served us breakfast each day and made us breakfast especially early on the morning we had to leave.

We spent 4 nights at Baan Orapin, and fell in love with this beautiful inn, and this wonderful city. The location is perfect, being within walking distance of all the markets, temples and the old city. Behind the Inns wooden gate is a hidden oasis, with its lush gardens, and lovely pool area. You would never know you are in...

Baan Orapin is a cool, beautiful haven in Chiang Mai. It's located just outside of the old city - getting into the old city was a 100 bhat tuk-tuk ride away. We stayed 5 nights in a cottage with our own porch where we watched the little lizards at night. The amenities were perfect - a refrigerator in the room,...

We stayed 4 nights at Baan Orapin, our second visit. It is an oasis off the road, so calm and peaceful. We had a suite in the back, very quiet. From the time we arrived to the time we left nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. Baan Orapin is in an ideal location close to the old...

The traffic is crazy on the street but inside the gate of Baan Orapin, it’s a haven of large shady trees, beautiful buildings and calm. Our suite was lovely: super clean with furnishings that complement the traditional-style décor and a good sized patio. The location is within walking distance of the old town, market, night bazaar, shops (there are some...
