Although my partner and I only stayed here a short time, we got a very good impression of Libra Guesthouse and would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly and efficient and our room was clean and comfortable. They booked us a mini van to Pai for 180B and although we didn't do any, the tours and cooking class they...

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our time in the Libra House family room (2 connecting rooms with a small kitchenette). We planned to stay for a week and ended up staying for 2 weeks! Dow was so kind and helpful with everything from trip planning, to arranging transportation, to telling us how to get to the doctor and the...

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in total (broken up with a trip to Pai) . The rooms are clean and well priced, but what made our stay so wonderful was Dao and her family. From the moment we arrived, Dao made us feel at home, going above and beyond to help us navigate the city -...

We stayed in the Libra Guesthouse for five days, and it was a good base for exploring Chiang Mia. The facilities were all basic and what we needed, clean, and a good value. No frills, but centrally located. Showers had hot water, but pressure was weak. A few plumbing issues. We enjoyed the breakfasts we had in the lobby (especially...

Stayed here with husband and two kids (12 and 10). Booked the room that had beds for 4, but AC wasn't working and so they put us in a larger 2 room suite that had 4 beds and a small fridge/sink/dishes area. This worked out great due to illness during our trip and the fact we had to spend so...

Staff was very helpful and friendly in the beginning, a bit colder and more distant by the end of my week long stay. Felt intrusive sometimes when I went downstairs to ask for things like toilet paper or water. Pricey for what's included in the accommodation. Hot water and good wifi. Nice lighting on the first floor and two hammocks...

We stayed 1 night here before we left for Bangkok. The room was clean except the sheets had minor stains. The hot water was awesome, almost to hot! Free wifi, It was unusually cold and the staff was great with providing extra blankets. For the price it was a good stay for 1 night.

The family was nice, we felt a bit pushed to book tours with them, but I guess thats the same with every guesthouse in Chiang Mai. The location is inside the old town, which is good but we personally thought its a little too far away from the real center, just our personal opinion. The points which downgrade our recommendation...

We arrived at Libra house three weeks into our Thailand trip, and found it to be the most helpful and accommodating place we've stayed so far. We arrived at 6am after a 10 hour bus ride and they let us check in early at no extra cost as they said we can't control when our bus gets in. Most places...

My partner and I spent a week at the Libra and our experience overall was splendid. The staffers went out of their way to answer questions, arrange day trips, etc. Most speak excellent English and the family is warm and friendly. Our room was basic yet adequate. On the downside: there were no nightstands, the shower was slow to drain,...
