Arriving at this hotel is so peaceful and Tranquil. Loaded with beautiful antiques and an air of sophistication and luxury not experienced in other parts of Thailand. In the old city this is quintessential old world Asia.

This ranks as one of our family's favorite hotel stays. Rachamankha is a gorgeous, tranquil oasis that's well located in Chiang Mai. The property is large for the middle of town, artfully filled (in a minimalist way) with antiques and good attention to detail. We loved the pool (so welcome when temperatures go above 100°) and the library. It was...

The Rachamankha Hotel is the most beautifully designed hotel at which we have ever stayed - an architecture and design lover’s dream. People are literally taken aback when they drive through the gates and see the front entranceway with a huge fabric panel flapping in the wind. We stayed in a ground floor room with incredibly high ceilings, a huge...

The beautiful antiques and elegant architecture makes this hotel a stand out. Located centrally within the walled city, it is easy walking distance to many Wats. The dining room is lovely. The food was excellent (be sure to have the Burmese Tea Salad). The pool was lovely and the landscaping equally lovely. We had great, friendly service. I would go...

Perfect location within the old city walls so everything within walking distance. Everything about this hotel was perfection, beautiful building, grounds and rooms, lovely artwork and library, wonderful pool and delicious food in restaurant. Everything is peace and tranquility and the staff are very friendly and take great pride in their work. It's a true oasis with all the hustle...

My daughters and I were traveling through Northern Thailand without much of a plan. We ended up at this amazing hotel because of the recommendation from a very reliable source. David from DK Davids kitchen who has one of the best (if not the best) restaurant in Chiang Mai. I also plan to review his Restuarant..... The hotel is beautiful....

This is a lovely boutique hotel with delicious food served in a beautiful courtyard, pleasant staff and a relaxing, quiet swimming pool lined with comfortable chaise lounges. Rooms are traditional and large, if a bit spartan. The owner's curated Asian art collection adds to the peaceful atmosphere. There is also a gorgeous library containing a mix of beautiful books belonging...

This hotel is ideally placed within the old city to explore either on foot or push bike (hired 150 metres from the hotel). Architecturally the place is stunning and almost worth a visit in its own right. The rooms are fine if a little dark and situated round the central courtyard. This leads to a lovely pool with plenty of...

We held our wedding and stayed at this beautiful property last month. We have booked two suite rooms facing the library garden (if you know where the hidden library is) and a few superior rooms. Our family and guests loved the peaceful and oriental ambience of the property. Located in the old city, waling distance to Wat Pra Singh, Oasis...

Delightful boutique hotel set in an old building with lots of character. We had a room set around a pretty courtyard area. It was a bit small by 5* Thai standards but nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is set in a lovely courtyard where you have both breakfast & dinner. It has a reasonable breakfast choice...

Perfectly located in the center of the old moated city of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, Rachamankha is just one minute’s stroll to the old city’s most important and impressive temple, Wat Phra Singh; just 2 minutes stroll to the city’s newest and most exciting night market the Chiang Mai Sunday Walking Street Market, and a wide choice of bars and restaurants from local to international in style all within a few minutes’ walk of Rachamankha. Unique for a city hotel Rachamankha is renowned for its peaceful and very private atmosphere, and it’s incredible architecture.
