At multiple time they talked to me like at a dog like: GIVE ME THE KEY or after they brought us drink the lady said to me MONEY NOW so i had to to tell them multiple time to say PLEASE... On...

We enjoyed our stay at Gaps house. The gardens are beautiful and lush and the dogs living on site are friendly and adorable. The rooms are very comfortable, with AC, but otherwise basic. No tv, no hot water kettle or mini fridge. We found the young reception staff to be excellent and very kind and helpful. One older staff member...

Positive things: Really charming place in the old city with well decorated and spacious rooms. The hostel itself is surrounded by a luxurious vegetation. Looks very nice! Amazing Thai Cooking Class, great and funny cook. A must do! Negative things: - Hostel as a well and there are a lot of mosquitos all the time. - Unfriendly staff, feels like...

We went for the vegetarian dinner and arrived at opening time. Owner told us they weren't ready and we would have to wait ten minutes. No problem....we went upstairs and seated ourselves. One staff person, no English, had no corkscrew for the wine we brought. Food, when it came, was only warm and very unimaginative. I'm not a vegetarian but...

We return each year with great pleasure to Gap's! You have everything you need in the center of the city, at a more than affordable price. Bonus: a very nice, luxuriant garden - you can't immagine, that exist in the heart of a big city! Thank you Mr.S.Th & Miss! Looking forward to seeing you next year!

I didn't stay at Gap's House, but I brought a big group for the daily veg buffet dinner, which was excellent. A nice selection of dishes, appetizers, and fruit. Great food, great service, great location on a teak deck in a garden setting!

It feels like a jungle paradise when you first walk in, green everywhere. The rooms have gorgeous darkwood furniture, plenty of space and ample quiet. The staff don't understand hospitality, the breakfast is mediocre at best. But if you just want to be left alone in a pretty place, I can recommend it. Looking for anything more, I wouldn't.

Price advertised on their company website is lower than in person and they refused to honor it. Said I needed to speak with owner and refused to give me their phone number to do so. There's nothing I hate more than liars. If you can't update your website in two years you need to check your priorities!
